“Hey little Luna, don’t be embarrassed, you are amazing, that was the best experience of my life, and I know better is to come.” Zander whispered softly, stroking her long hair.
Chloe kept her head on his chest, still embarrassed, despite her mate’s reassurance. Zander tightened his arms around his mate, holding her close to him.
“Chloe, it is natural, and the mate bond makes it almost impossible to resist. Really, don’t feel embarrassed. You are the other half of me, and I am the other half of you,” Zander whispered softly.
Chloe nodded her head slowly, then looked up at Zander and, using humour to deal with the heady mix of emotions she was experiencing, she smiled at him.
“I suppose it wasn’t that bad for my first ever kiss.” She giggled.
