Aurora’s POV
The moment the words left Demetri’s lips, a sharp bolt of fury shot through me.
"My love… forgive me… Will you?"
I narrowed my eyes at him. He pulled closer as e puashed away a few stray strands out of my face. I froze as his finger tip made my skin burn. Spending the night next to him was so comfortable and I don’t feel like leaving.
His words stung at the back of my heart. I saw the look in his eyes as we locked eyes together. He seemed sincerely apologitic. But, how can I forget his sins? And the pain he made me go through.
I swallowed as I muttered the courage and I shoved him away, hard. His grip loosened immediately, and I scrambled to my feet, putting as much distance between us as the small cave would allow. My pulse thundered in my ears, a mix of shock and outrag
