Aurora's Point of View. “Liam!!” I yelled as I threw the Antelope I had caught from my hunt on the floor. I couldn't believe my eyes. My mate, Liam, whom I had given my position as an Alpha, had just chosen my younger sister, Tamia, as his Luna. As I raced up the auditorium, I didn't care about the whispers of the onlookers or my mud-stained pants and boots. I jumped up the auditorium, and stood in front of Liam. “Did I hear you correctly, you chose Tamia as your Luna?” I asked through gritted teeth, my eyes watering as I looked up at him. “You better not blame him for your misfortune, who would wanna be with a mess like you,” Tamia smeared as she looked me up and down. I looked down at myself. Yes, I am a mess, my hair is up in a messy ponytail, I am certain I have some mud stains on my face as well, and my clothes are so dirty, but that's because I went hunting. I bit my tongue as I heard more murmuring from the onlookers. I am sure they agree with Tamia. I looked back at Liam and ignored Tamia. “Liam… I need an explanation. You asked me to go hunting so you would make my sister your luna?”Luna“Yes!!” Liam snarled, “Yes Aurora… I did.” I staggered back in shock, even though I had just witnessed the scene, his words hit me with a pang in my chest. “Why??” I asked with a whimper, my heart couldn't hold it anymore, and warm tears rolled down my cheeks as I looked up at him. Liam smiled broadly, he held Tamia's hand and pulled her to him. I gulped as I dropped my eyes and I saw his hand slide around her waist. I bit my bottom lip and looked up at Tamia, wearing an evil grin on her face. “Because… I have never loved you, it is Tamia I love.” His words rang and echoed again and again in my head, making me stagger back a little more. I shook my head slowly, “No you can't do this, we are mates… Liam, do not make this mistake.” Liam threw his head back and laughed out loud. Tamia stood there clicking her tongue at me. “I, Liam Katz, reject you, Aurora Hunt, as my mate.” He growled at me. I rushed forward and tugged at his arm, my eyes locked in his, searching to see beyond this charade and maybe see the nice gentleman I fell in love with. “You can't do this to me” my voice came out in a whisper. He gritted his teeth and glared at my hands holding his arm. As if I irritate him, he yells, “Guards!” Two guards rushed forward and stood in front of him. “Take her away… lock her up in the private quarters outside the mansion.” My jaw dropped as I heard Liam's orders. The guards rushed forward and pulled me off him. “Let me go!” I yelled as I wiggled myself free from their grip. “I, Aurora Hunt, accept your rejection, Liam Katz!” I yelled back at Liam, who didn't seem to care less about my words. I turned to face my sister Tamia, “You will regret this… Sister,” I growled at her, and she replied with a snicker. I bit my tongue as I tried to prevent myself from showing any emotions. My eyes scanned the crowd and my eyes fell on Charlotte, my best friend, smirking at me. She dropped her face immediately when I saw her. I gritted my teeth and walked out with the guards. I breathed in sharply as we neared the private quarters. It had so many rooms in it, I watched in silence as the guards opened up a room for me. Another guard shoved me in. I braced myself for a fall, gritting my teeth, but I landed on my knees, and it hurt as hell. The sound of the locks clicking behind me made my heart sink to the pit of my stomach. I blinked back my tears as I looked around the room. Only a small bed was in the middle of the room. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I recalled the events of the past month. My father had just passed away, and I was crowned Alpha, as the first child, but I ended up falling in love with a rogue werewolf and giving him my position as Alpha. Now he has betrayed me. “I am sorry father, I have disappointed you,” I said, holding my chest. The pain I was feeling was heart-wrenching. * * The sound of the iron door opening made me open my eyes. I scrubbed my eyes with the back of my hand. I had fallen asleep. I got up from bed, and a figure walked into the room. I rolled my eyes immediately, and I perceived Tamia's scent. “What do you want?” I sneered. Her laughter echoed in the empty room, making me frown in disgust. “Hi, sister… I can see you love your new room… you even fell asleep,” Tamia said, her lips broadening into a smile. “Tamia… why did you betray me this way, of all the men in our pack, why Liam?” I asked softly. My eyes burned as another batch of tears threatened to flow. I blinked hard, I did not want to show her any sign of weakness. She threw her head back in laughter, “Because you took everything I ever wanted.” “How?” I asked, furrowing my brow. Tamia stared at me with raw hatred. This was the first time I had seen this look in her eyes. “You are dad's favorite, all the guys in our pack want you, and you even became the alpha of our pack, nobody ever gave me a chance to prove myself… that is why I have collected it all from you, sister,” an evil grin crept onto her face. “Tamia… you mean you are jealous of me. If you had asked for the position of Alpha, I would have given it to you. I have never refused you anything you asked for, have I?” I asked. I can't hide the tears anymore, they rolled out of my eyes and into my mouth. “Oh, don't give me that crab story… I do not need anything from you, I am now the Luna of the redclaRedclaw you are just a prisoner.” I sucked in air through my teeth, and closed my eyes, letting the tears flow. I looked up at her and asked, “How do you want our mother to feel after doing this to me?” Tamia burst out laughing hysterically, she bent over and held her tummy. “Our mother, you say?” Tamia shook her head out of pity as she clicked her tongue, “Oh poor Aurora, you are so naive.” I raised an eyebrow at her, “What do you mean?” Tamia stepped forward to where I sat on the bed, she bent down to my ear and whispered, “She is not your mother, she is my mother, obviously she won't care, even if you die.” My eyes widened in shock, I froze in my spot as warm tears lined my cheeks. A figure appeared by the door and I raised my gaze to see Owen, the beta. “Tamia!!” Owen yelled from the entrance, “How dare you taunt Aurora.”
