Aurora's point of view
Owen stormed into the room and stood right in front of Tamia, “How dare you taunt your sister… after everything you have done, are you that shameless?”
Tamia looked up at him with a sneer, “You better watch your mouth, you are talking to the Luna of this pack.”
I stood there watching them both argue. I couldn't take it anymore.
I feel light-headed. Why does it feel like I want to faint?
I stood up to my feet and tried to hold Owen, but my feet gave way and I landed on the ground with a thud.
“Aurora! Aurora!!” I heard Owen scream as he scooped me in his arms and lifted me off the ground to my bed.
I opened my eyes a bit to see Tamia laughing at me, and then she stormed out of the room.
“Someone call the doctor!” That was the last word I heard from Owen before I blanked out.

I could feel someone touching my hand. I blinked slowly and opened my eyes to see a doctor feeling my pulse.
“She had fainted due to the stress, it is not safe for her condition,” the doctor said, looking at Owen.
“Condition?” Owen asked with furrowed brows.
I turned around a bit to find out I was still in the room. Liam had asked me to be locked in.
I couldn't see Liam anywhere. I am sure the news of my health had reached his hearing but yet he couldn't come check on me.
I bit my bottom lip as I tried to hold the tears that were threatening to roll out of my eyes.
The reality of his betrayal and rejection has begun to set in, and it hurts.
I turned back to the doctor. They didn't seem to realize that I was awake.
“Yes… she is a few weeks pregnant” the doctor announced, and I gripped the sheets as I widened my eyes in shock.
“Pre… pregnant?” I asked out loud and both Owen and the doctor turned to me.
The tears I had been trying to hold burst out as I bit my bottom lip hard.
I shook my head vigorously, “No… please I can't be pregnant, I can't be.” I cried, and I tried to get up from the bed, but the doctor held me down.
“You have to rest, your pregnancy is at high risk already, you have to be extremely careful or else you will lose the child.”
I laid back down with my lips folded in as I whimpered.
“I will take my leave now,” the doctor said, and he carried his box and he went out the door.
I turned to Owen, and he looked away. I guess the pain in my eyes was too much for him to bear.
“I am sorry Aurora, I am sorry you have to go through all this because of Liam.”
I turned to the side, my hands traveled to my belly and I held them tightly.
“Let me go and get you something to eat,” Owen said and walked out of the room.
I lay there deep in thought.
Liam doesn't deserve to be a father to my child, he had betrayed me, he had broken my trust.
I cannot trust him to be a good father to my child.
I have to leave, I have to leave this pack before the news of my pregnancy spreads to him.
I sat up on the bed and looked out the exit. There were no guards in sight.
I turned to the window and hastily got up to my feet.
I slowly opened the door of the window to avoid making a creaking sound with my mouth pursed.
I jumped out and crawled through the backyard into the woods.
I got up to my feet the moment I knew I was covered by the trees.
I took to my heels, running into the woods.
I have never been outside packed all my life. I do not know where my destination may be, but I just want to get away from this toxicity.
It's neither safe for me, nor is it safe for my child.

The rustling of bushes made me halt. I turned around at once, but I couldn't see anything.
My heart was racing slower. I walked slower this time. My ears were open, listening for any sound.
I noticed some movement behind me once again, and I turned immediately to see someone sneak behind a tree.
I clutched my belly as fear gripped me.
Who could this be?
What does he want?
My chest was heaving up and down, I faced my front and raced into the woods.
I turned back to see a man dressed as an assassin racing after me.
I was weak, I was tired, and my legs were about to give way from under me.
I faced in front and saw a tree that had fallen across my path. It was too late to dodge it now.
I stumbled upon it and rolled over.
I looked behind to see the assassin was catching up on me.
I tried to rush up to my feet, but it was too late then.
He leaped and landed in front of me.
“Help!!” I screamed out of fear.
“Who are you? Who sent you?” I asked him these questions but he kept mute.
He inched closer to me slowly.
I could not know who he was, he had a mask covering his face from his nose down, and I could only see his eyes.
I gritted my teeth as I held my tummy.
I have to fight, I have to fight for the sake of my unborn child.
I fisted the earth and got some soil in my hand.
I gritted my teeth and threw the soil at him, it got in his eyes and he yelled out in pain.
“You little b***h!” He cursed, holding his eyes.
I rushed up to my feet and ran in the opposite direction.
“Come back here, Aurora!” He yelled as he pursued me.
He knows my name. Who is he?
I hid behind a tree, my legs were aching, and I couldn't run anymore.
My heartbeat was fast, and my breathing was heavy.
Suddenly, I felt a touch on my shoulder.
I froze for a while.
I turned back slowly and my eyes widened in shock as I met face to face with the assassin.
“Ahhhh” I screamed and disturbed the silent and cold forest, sending the birds chirping and flying into the sky.
A strike with his hand on my neck made me blank out.
