Why did Humberto talk about ripping off his wings again? Was he the one who ripped it off before?

Oh my goodness, they are going to kill each other.
My eyes welled up with tears as I watched the men I care about lunge at each other.
“Please stop fighting!!” I yelled out.
But Humberto punched Demetri in the face and Demetri staggered back.
“Oh no… Demetri has not fully recovered from the effects of the potion he took… at this stage, Humberto will kill him.”
