Humberto's point of view.
“Humberto,” I turned to the road immediately I heard Aurora's voice calling my name ever softly.
I turned to Gina, “Did you hear that?”
She furrowed her brows, “Hear what?”
I turned back to the road and froze.
This was not the kind of voice you hear in your ear. I heard her calling me in my heart.
Aurora called me, she is in trouble.
I mustered back my strength and raced out of the restaurant.
Gina was surprised and she raced after me.
I reached the front of the restaurant, but Aurora was nowhere to be found.
Only a car speeding off.
My eyes widened in shock as my senses heightened.
Only a car speeding off with Aurora inside of it.
I turned to Gina, “Get the car!” I ordered.
“Why boss?” Gina asked.
My breathing became heavy, “No questions Gina, get
