I stirred on the cold concrete floor, blinking a few times, trying to remember what the hell happened to me. “Amber, is Lionel alright?” I asked as Amber moved in my mind, looking just as shocked as I was feeling.
“I think so” she said as I tried to sit up before lying down again because my head started spinning. What happened to me? “Someone hit us from behind with something hard. I didn’t see who it was.”
