I can’t believe the audacity of some people. Rebecca Finlay, daughter of Alpha Theodore Finlay of the Red Moon Pack, claimed we were betrothed to the one person who was betrothed to me by the moon goddess. Firstly, we don’t do arranged marriages anymore. And secondly, I know who Alpha Theodore is. Dad made me learn all the different packs and who their Alphas were. I didn’t know he had a daughter, let alone one supposedly promised to me.
I called Dad the moment I left Elouise because I didn’t want her to hear the conversation. Dad laughed and said, since Rebecca said, I was promised to her; Theodore was making promises to his daughter that he couldn’t keep and there was no basis for them because if there were, do you think they would have allowed us to get married?
