Victoria’s POV
“Bradon's mind linked me. Jamie and Patrick got away” Robert said, as Jonah gently dragged me out of the dungeon area. “We are going to take you to see Alicia before placing you in a holding cell. If anyone asks, we had questioned you first.”
“I’m still being put in a holding cell?” I asked as Jonah released a long breath before moving his hand down one of my arms to hold my hand, causing goosebumps to appear on my arms.
“We decided it was best to keep the pretense up about you helping Jamie”, Robert answered as I nodded my head. That makes sense, since I was the one to start this illusion to keep Elouise and Lionel safe. “We know who you were really helping.”
“How do you know I wasn’t helping, just so I could see Alicia?” I asked, smirking from ear to ear.
