Chapter 28Katrivus shakes his head from side to side and, gaining his composure, fills Ashcon's wine goblet and then his own. Leaning back in his chair, goblet in hand, he finishes the wine in one long gulp, never taking his eyes off of Ashcon. “Sapphyre a seeker?” says Katrivus out loud. “Possibly,” replies Ashcon as he rises from his chair. “There have been others who can see my runes, and this is why we travel to Sorenthor.” “But you said only your seeker can see your runes. I don't understand.” “It is true that only my seeker can see my runes, but let me explain further. If you put three seekers in a room with me, only my true seeker can see my runes when I activate them.
