The witch spy and her criminal demons

I have had a pretty traumatic childhood. When I was 10, I lost both my parents to a house raid. Although I'm pretty sure it wasn't just a normal robbery. I hid in a cupboard as I watched the robbers come towards my parents with the intention to kill. I stayed there for days, scared to come out in case they were still there. Until Chase Hudson, the leader of the spies community, found me. He has raised me and trained me ever since. He is like a second father to me. I trained harder than anyone else, and I know it. I wanted revenge. I want to find the killers and bring justice to my parents. It's probably the only thing that keeps me going after Chase. I will forever remain thankful to him. And I am willing to do whatever it takes to make him proud. I sat at my chair while the presenter was presenting something I did not care about. The Anadole can sort of be a very boring organisation. I sat there zoning out until I heard a beep. I looked down at my phone to see a text from Chase. I immediately stood up and left the room. I walked fast over to the beach. the text said, "it's time. meet me at the shore in 5." I couldn't hold in my excitement. This was my first real mission. I am willing to do whatever it takes to make Chase proud. As I stood at the shore waiting for Chase, I couldn't help but reminisce about that day with my parents. It was my first time at the beach. I was terrified of the crashing waves and the ocean as it had no end. I absolutely hated that I didn't know what the unknown had to offer. I clung to my fathers leg like a crab while my mother went ahead to swim. My father said to me, "Ridi, promise me something." "What, Daddy?" "No matter what, you will find a love endless like the sky and the ocean. A love that has no bounds and no limits." He said while he looked at my mother. "I promise, Daddy. But what if I don't?" "If you ever feel like you won't, then ask me for advice. No matter where or how far I am, I will always help you, birdie." My father said. As I kept thinking, suddenly I heard a branch crack. I whipped around and dodged just in time to see Chase attacking me with a knife. "Looks like you really are ready, Ridi." He said. He dusted his suit and stood beside me. "This mission, it's your first proper mission and a very dangerous one indeed. I am only sending you because I know you earned it. You are a strong mage, and your abilities are very, very rare." Chase said. My ability was indeed a unique one. There were many different types of mages. Mages that had control over the elements or other things but me? I had the power of everything. No, like literally. I could control the 4 elements as well as more and an even more rare trait, I could communicate with spirits. "What is the mission about?" I asked. "You will be sent as a spy to the Allard brothers. The most notorious criminal group and the most dangerous. They are demons who have been banished from hell, so they are living on Earth." "What do I need to find out?" "Everything." I nodded and started to head back to get ready for my mission. "Oh and Ridi?" Chase called behind. "You have to do whatever it takes." "Whatever it takes." I replied back.
