Chapter 2Doctor Silver Ballard crept into the bathroom. By the glow of his wrist watch he found the toilet, lurking in an unfamiliar location. Silver sat down but was unable to relax until he pressed his head against the tiled wall. He sighed and his stream of urine was followed by his lover’s satisfaction seeping from his rear. It was surprisingly loud as it hit the water. He shuddered and forced another sigh in an attempt to steady his shaking body. Night-time always made him anxious. He couldn’t quite explain why, but it was as if he was weaker, here, in the middle of the night.
