How could the doctor be so well thought of, both professionally and personally, yet so chaotic and wild? Most likely the result of an education outside of the Foundation, they thought.
Still, they admired the way that the room seemed to relax at his arrival, in harsh contrast to how it tensed up everywhere they went.
Kim was not envious of the scruffy man, or indeed, anyone at all. They had given themselves fully to the Foundation and therefore the betterment of all of humankind. Being a quirky buffoon benefited no one and wasted a good deal of time, as proven by the doctor’s late arrival.
