My time on the military base was coming to an end. Not that anything had changed but I could feel myself growing restless. Now that I’d let go of an old dream, it was time to figure out what my new dream was. A new adventure was waiting for me, I just didn’t quite know what that adventure was.

“Huh?” I looked up to find Astrid staring at me with questions in her eyes.
The noise of the cafeteria returned to me, making me remember where I was and what I was supposed to be doing.
