The Wolf Pup That Lived II Alyra's Second Chance (Completed

Chapter 6

The next couple of weeks I just moved through my day like usual.  The guardians and Xavier tried to get me back like old Alyra, but I just can't handle it anymore.

I tell Xavier before he goes to bed that I love him nor matter what happens.  Xavier started getting scared for his mom, meanwhile he never told his mother he talked to Caleb in the spirit world.  He didn't want to cause her anymore pain.

Alyra made sure the guardians were all sleeping before she escaped the mansion with the mustang.  She took only what she needed for her very last adventure.

She started driving away while leaving Incline village, and make her way to Mt Baker-Snoqualmie National Park.  ChiChi says "I wondered when we would go back to the basic little wolf we were".  I tell ChiChi "this is the only way, and I need to drop the mustang far away from Mt Baker so they can't find us.  I will leave the mustang at a gas station then we backpack the rest of the way through the woods".  ChiChi says "no problem we did it when we were young I think we can handle it now.  Eh old grandma" while laughing at me.  I shake my head and say "yes grandma".

I drive all night and day for 4 days before reaching a gas station.  It will be another 4 days of trekking to the park but I am capable of it.  I park the car in the back of the gas station while locking the doors.  I buy a few things in the gas station avoiding the camera system then make my four day trek to the park.

---------------------------------------- The Rose Estate -------------------------------------------------

Xavier wake up to a big  BANG! and falling items downstairs.  The guardians are running around like mad dogs.  Alex comes into the mansion saying "the mustang is gone".  Xavier knew his mother left during the night.  Sam walks up to Xavier and says "Do you know where your mother went? or Anything that happen from the time she was crying in her room up to now?"  Xavier says to Sam "that Caleb Knight suppose to be the love of her life, and he moved on in the spirit world.  It destroyed mother" while he started crying.  Sam said to Xavier "come here buddy.  We will find her".   Xavier says "you don't understand do you, Sam?  She wants to be alone and away from everything".  All the guardians look at each other, but Sam says "call the mates and get ready to search for her".  Xavier says "you will never find her," before heading to the kitchen.

------------------------------------- The Moon Claw Pack House ----------------------------------------

Connor picks up the phone in his office, it was Sam on the other end explaining to Connor that Alyra is missing and so is her mustang.  Connor hangs up the phone and goes to Theron's office where he was teaching Jaxson and Koda other methods of dealing with pack members.  

Connor burst through the door and says "Alyra is missing and so is her car!"  Theron says "what?"  Theron and Connor gather their warriors with Jaxson and Koda following them to The Rose Estate.

--------------------------------------------- Freedom ---------------------------------------------------

Me and ChiChi walked for days while my mind goes back to seeing Caleb with the blond woman.  Tears run down my face and ChiChi says "betrayal hurts no matter who does it Alyra, but we need to find ourselves and this is the best way.  Away from the council, advisors, guardians, mates, and the children.  Time to focus on yourself, and then everything will be easier to decide trust me".  

We finally make it to the edge of Mt Baker-Snoqualmie National Park.  I turn into my white wolf and start running like I haven't for years just for fun. We make our way in the middle of the national park in the thick area so no one can find us.  We find our old den when we were here the first time.  I setup the den a bit then we decided to go hunting for food like old times.

------------------------------------------ The Rose Estate -----------------------------------------------

Jaxson and Koda run into the mansion and go straight to Xavier asking him "where is mom?"  Xavier shrug his shoulders while still eating his sandwich.  Jaxson says "Xavier is she safe?"  Xavier says to his brothers "mom doesn't want to be found, she wants time alone to herself with none of us to bother her with duties".  Jaxson and Koda says "she is finally broken completely, isn't she?"  Xavier says "what do you think?"  The boys drop their heads knowing the answer.

Connor, Theron and the guardians make a plan to find her, and start putting it into motion".  Xavier walked past them saying "good luck in finding her, you won't find her unless she wants you too" while walking towards the council hall.

Jaxson and Koda come out of the kitchen while walking into the war room.  Koda says "Xavier is right".  Theron looks at Koda and Jaxson while saying "I will find her and bring her home safe".

---------------------------------- Mt Baker- Snoqualmie National Park -----------------------------------

I found an open field, the grass smelled fresh and the color was a lush green color.  The air was fresh like the first of Fall. The trees had all different kinds of color leaves like out of a painting.  The park was beautiful and amazing.  I ran fast down the hill and run across the open field, it felt so free.  I stopped and rubbed myself into the grass like a pup, then sun bathed a bit on a rock.

I drank some water from a waterfall near the open field.  Finally a deer appeared I crunched down waiting for the perfect time to attack.  After catching our meal for the day I head back to our den to rest for the night.

The night sky was bright you could clearly see the stars and the half of moon.  I stayed in my wolf form falling asleep watching the night sky.

---------------------------------------------- On The Road ----------------------------------------------

Sam, Alex, and Dave went back to the cottages to see if Alyra went back to them.  They had no luck and told the mates she wasn't there.  Sam started driving the car back to The Rose Estate when they hear on the radio that 2020 mustang was found empty and abandoned at the back of a gas station.  Alex copied down the number to the cops in that area.

Sam finally drive up to the estate while they all run into the mansion telling Connor and Theron what they heard on the radio.  Theron and Connor talk to the police and started making their way to the address the police gave them while leaving Jaxson and Koda in charge of the pack.  

Sam and the rest of the guardians look at each other and said "she dumped the mustang their for a reason, and it will not be close to her location either".  Alex, get a map of the location where the mustang was dropped and whatever is close to that area.  Alex pulls up a map of the area.

Sam says "If I was Alyra and didn't want to be found where would I go?"  Emily says "she is after all a werewolf what about a national park?"  Sam says "good thinking Emily.  Alex any close national parks?"  Alex says "yeah but very far from the car positions.  Mt Baker-Snoqualmie National Park".

Sam says "lets go".  Alex says "what about Xavier?"  Sam says "the other crown guards are here.  Come on".   Sam tells the crown guards "to keep Xavier safe" while the guardians leave to track the Queen's whereabouts.  Everyone gets into the cars and start making there way to Mt Baker-Snoqualmie National Park.
