The next day Sam, and Alex start searching for this witch through back alley hear say, electronically, and good old fashion sniffing around the communities.
Me and Xavier continue our day, but I decided to let Xavier to take the reigns and see what kind of a teacher I am to him. The council and advisors were advised that all decision making for today will come from Xavier. They were stun at first and grumbled against it, but I have confidence that Xavier is ready.
I look at Xavier and say "Its all yours today, I am just going to watch you and see how you do... my sweetheart. I have faith in you, and I know you are ready for this". Xavier eyes were showing fear but he held his head up high, and started the day with the council and advisors while I sat in the background during his first royal duties as King for a day. Xavier looked back at me once in a while, and I mind linked him telling him "your doing great sweetheart, remember follow your heart and soul". He turns back with a big smile and more confident then he was before the mind link.
I decided to leave the room and let Sam watch him for a bit, Xavier looked scared again, and I gave him a look of confidence before leaving the room.
I went to see Alex and Dave to see if they have any information on this elusive witch, but the guys said "nothing yet Alyra". I walked out of the room and headed for the flower garden. I wanted to talk to Caleb more than anything. I sat down near the water fountain and opened the veil.
I went through many paths in the woods and came to this cottage, the exact same cottage me and Caleb built before his death. Dixon and Morgan were playing in the yard while Caleb had just his tight fitting jeans on cutting wood. I decided to stand there staring at his body while biting my lips for a bit. I finally decided to walk up the path more so they could see me. Dixon and Morgan saw me first and ran towards me saying "mom!" with surprise faces while Caleb looked up at an older lady he once knew and loved.
I walked with the children towards Caleb and said "Hi! Caleb" to him. Caleb knew something was wrong and he knew he needed to talk to me about it. He tells the children "you will see your mother after I need talk to her".
All of a sudden a blond hair woman comes out of the cottage saying to Caleb "we have a visitor?" My face dropped and tears started forming in my eyes. I started to walk away from the cottage with Caleb trailing me while saying "Its not what you are thinking Alyra". You moved on... and all this bullshit of wanting me to live for the both of us. Caleb says "please hear me out... I will always love you but I got lonely without you".
Don't worry Caleb what I have planned will set everything right. You won't be here and I will not be where I am. Now go back to her and I won't be coming back. Caleb grabs me and says "baby...what are you going to do? Please tell me". I rip myself from his hold and say "I am going back in time and changing everything, but I don't know if I could ever be whole again no matter what man is in my life anymore. You, Connor, and Theron all betrayed me with another woman" with tears coming down my face. Caleb said "baby don't do this I will get rid of her and wait for you like I said. Just don't do that your children need you".
I turn away from Caleb and waved the veil closed. Caleb heart was broken in the spirit world knowing he caused his one true love to hate him, and he was unable to comfort her and tell her he was so sorry".
I walked into my room seating at my vanity and staring back at an older version of myself and hating my life.
Alex and Dave saw me rush into the mansion crying, and decided to go get Sam out of the council meeting. All three came to my room and Sam knocked on my door. I tell Sam "not now just leave me be". Sam knew it was something serious that happened.
Xavier did all the duties of the day, the council and the advisors was impressed. I never came out of my room the rest of the day. I cried myself to sleep on the bed.
Xavier went to his room at 9:00 pm worried for his mother. He was told by Sam that she opened the veil to the spirit world, and something happened there not knowing what had happened.
Xavier sat on the floor and concentrated on opening the veil, it collapsed on him 2 times but the final try worked..he started walking around the spirit world asking anyone did they see his mom earlier today. The blond woman said "yes she came by my place and talked to Caleb". Xavier says "Caleb Knight?" The blond woman says "yes, we will be married soon". Xavier ask the lady to the directions to the house.
When he finally arrived he saw a man on the porch on a chair thinking long and hard while you could tell he was crying also. I walk up to his porch and say "are you Caleb Knight?" Caleb looks up and sees a version of Theron mixed with Alyra on the man face. Caleb says "yes I am, and you are one of Alyra's children aren't you?" Xavier says "yes, my name is Xavier Black". Caleb says "how is your mother?" I look at Caleb and say "not eating, not talking to anyone. What have you done?" Caleb started crying while saying "I broke your mother's heart, because I was suppose to wait for her and I moved on". Xavier said "you know you were the love of her life and the only thing that made her happy, and now you took it away from her by doing the same thing my father did to her".
Caleb said "get her to come back here and I will fix everything. I promise you". Xavier shakes his head and says "you did enough damage, everyone she loved hurt her. Why would I let you keep doing that to her? I hope you enjoy your blond thing, because I swear if anything happens to mom, I will come back and rip her from you and make sure you are alone for the rest of your life". Before walking away from Caleb. Caleb yells out to Xavier "I love your mother and tell her I will be waiting for her. I will get rid of Steph and wait for her. Please tell her... I beg you". Xavier keeps walking away from Caleb and closes the veil.
