(Cassie’s POV)
I looked down the road and watched as Drew fell to his knees. He seemed to be staring up at us although not doing much else. I linked Hunter, who had turned back to Drew.
“What’s wrong?” I asked, and he shook his head.
“I dunno baby.” He walked towards Drew. At the same I heard Layla speak
“Ava, honey?” I looked round at Ava, who had a shocked look on her face and was staring down at Drew. Then I realised and I couldn’t help the massive grin on my face. Hunter turned around and grinned at me. He had also figured it out. And from the response from Parker behind me, he had also figured it out.
“Oh hell no, no please, anyone else. He’s too old for her,” I turned and shushed him and he glared at me. I didn’t care. One of my closest friends had found the love of his life and
