Jaimee When the car that me and Lady Lana or just Lana like she prefers me to call her, arrived at the school grounds I suddenly feel nervous. I know I was excited earlier but now that I am actually here, I feel nervous that I can feel my heart hammer against my chest. I bet every vampire around can hear my fast heartbeat. "Jaimee, are you okay? I can hear your heart rate accelerated the moment we arrived." I heard Lana spoke. See? "I am fine. Just excited." I lied. "Well in that case, let's go!" She chirped. She grabbed her bag and didn't even waited for the chauffeur to open her door, she just opened it herself and hopped out of the car. I shook my head on how Lana acted, then I took a couple of deep breaths before opening my door and stepped out of the car. I looked around and saw a huge old stone building, with two more buildings interconnected with each other. I was still looking around when Lana grabbed my hand and dragged me towards the school entrance where our other friend Matt was waiting for us. The moment he spotted us, he waived uncontrollably. "Lana! Jaimee! Finally! I missed you girls so aaaaaa!!!" Matt screeched pointing at me. "What?" I asked. "What kind of atrocity are you wearing?!" He asked dramatically. I rolled my eyes at him. Ladies and gentlemen, may I present you Lord Matthew Grayson. I met Matt the day after I met Lana. He was visiting the manor when Lana introduced us and told him how she met me. In an instant Matt was intrigued with my fiery personality that he proclaimed that we will be super besties. From then on the three of us are inseparable, despite the fact that they are both nobles and I am just an orphaned housemaid. Matt is the youngest son of the the Baron Desmond and Baroness Matilde Grayson. One of the few noble family of vampires in which doesn't patronize pure breeding. Matt's mother, the late Baroness was a human. She died from a terrible disease a few years back. Like Lana's family, Matt's family was kind too. His older sisters were nice and bubbly pair of twins that loves fashion. They are so good at it that their father gave them their own business venture. Their love for fashion may have rubbed on Matt that he too love fashion. And if you can't tell yet, Matt is gay. Many people from the nobles look down on him for being gay and they laughed at his father for having a gay heir. But the Baron couldn't care less. He loves his children and accepted them for what they are. Besides he knows that his son is more a man than others out there. He has the brain and his heart is in the right place. "What's wrong with what I'm wearing?" I asked. "It's so ordinary!" Matt exclaimed in horror. "I told her already but she's one stubborn girl." Lana said inspecting her nails. "I feel so useless. I'm a failure!" Matt cried. I rolled my eyes again. "Oh for the love of god, get yourself together. It's just school, not a fashion show." I told them and walked inside. The two of them followed me, and we went towards the registrar's office to get our schedule. In the front desk, there was female vampire, she must be a clerk. The clerk assigned with the student's schedule grinned at us when she saw us, but she frowned when she saw me. "Welcome to Aragon Kingdom High School! What can I do for you?" She asked looking at Lana and Matt. "We need our schedule. My name is Lana Ramiro." Lana said. "I need mine too, Matthew Grayson is my name." Matt told the lady. "Right away Lady Ramiro, Lord Grayson!" She exclaimed, then she began typing on her computer for a second and then she printed out their schedule. "Here are your schedules my lady, my lord." She said giving Lana and Matt their schedule, with her sweetest smile. When my two friends are busy comparing their schedules, I approached the clerk. "I need my schedule too. I'm new here and I'm on my senior year, my name is Jaimee Zaragosa." I told her. The lady looked at me with disdain and scoffed before typing on her computer. I may not be a vampire with super hearing but I can definitely hear her grumble about her serving a filthy human. Bitchy I know. When she was done, she printed out my schedule and gave it to me. Before I could look into my schedule, it was snatched away from me by my friends. Lana and Matt scanned them, and when they frowned I knew something is up. "What the hell is this?! Why do you have such tight schedule?!" Lana exclaimed. "So tight that you don't even have enough time for lunch!" Matt growled. Then both of them glared at the clerk. They approached her like predators in the wild, with their eyes glowing blue. "Explain this s**t woman!" Lana growled grabbing the clerk's collar. The clerk obviously look surprised. "I can't possibly put that human with regular class. The human is-" She was cut off by Lana's hiss and by the look on the clerk's face, I can only assume that Lana is using her affinity to freeze anything liquid. In this case, the clerk's blood. The clerk's porcelain like white skin is now turning blue. Matt grabbed her face between his thumb and index finger and turned it to face him. "Let's not let your blood turn ice, shall we?" Matt started in a sweet voice. "Put the three of us in the same class schedule. Same subjects, same breaks, same electives and stuff." Matt added with his voice changed into more deep, cold and intimidating. The clerk stiffly nodded, with fear obviously in her eyes. Matt and Lana released her, then she quicky redo our schedule and handed it to us. Lana smirked at the clerk. "Thanks doll." she hissed before we left to find our classroom. "There's no need for you guys to do that. I can just talk her to changing my schedule." I told them as we walk along the noisy corridor. "She deserved it for being a b***h. How dare she treat you like that! Besides, what will you do to convince her?" Lana asked. "Punch her newly operated nose?" I answered. We all looked at each other the we laughed. "That's good too, but you'll only be like punching the wall." Matt said. I shrugged. When we got to where our classroom is, I stayed outside the door for a bit after Lana and Matt entered. I took a several deep breaths to calm my nerves. "Okay, you can do it. This is for your own good." I told myself, When I'm done with my short self pep talk, I pushed the door open and went inside.
