Chapter 5: The Battle Of Trost (part 1)

You and the others were in a cafeteria when a soldier barged in sweating profusely. His eyes widen in fear.
"T-titan has appeared at Trost...The w-wall.....IT HAS BEEN BREACHED!!!!" He shouted. Your face turned pale as well as the others.
"NOOOO!!! NOOOO THIS CANT BE!! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!" A girl screamed. She was so terrified. She tried to throw her hand over her mouth but it was too late. She vomited on that spot.
You were unable to move or speak a word as the memory of your sister being eaten by a titan flashes through your mind. You were terrified of course but you tried your best not to show your fear.
"So the time has come for Wall Rose to fall eh?" You heard someone said. You turned around and face that person. With anger, you punched him in the face, hard enough to break his face.
"GET YOURSELF TOGETHER!! IF WE WORK TOGETHER, THERE WILL BE A HIGHER CHANCE THAT WALL ROSE WILL FALL!"
You shouted at him. He stared at you speechless.
"Report to HQ immediately!"
the soldier said.
You got ready and quickly went to HQ for instructions.
"Split up into teams just as like what we trained. The initial response team has been wiped out. They let their titans break through their defenses and get into the town. So, mop up any titans you encounter! Dismissed!"
Before you went to your teammates, Someone grabbed your hand. You spun around and saw Levi.
"(Y/n),, please..Don't die."
You were shocked upon hearing that. You brushed his hand off.
"I won't.Not today!" Your eyes locked onto Levi's grey eyes.
You then gathered up your teammates, Eren, Armin, Mikasa, Connie, Sasha.
You and the others proceeded to the Town District. As soon as you reached there, 5 Titans appeared before you. Two 5 meter class on the right, three 7 meter class on the left.
"Eren, Armin, Connie, Sasha! You guys will handle those on the right. Mikasa & I will handle the 7 meter." You instructed gripping onto your blades tightly, enough to draw blood.
You took in a deep breath and launched the anchor of your 3D maneuver gear to one of the 7 meter titan's necks and slashed it deep enough. Mikasa did the same thing. You then took a quick glance at the others. They're almost done. Your focus then went back to the 7m class titan when it suddenly swung its hand trying to catch you. But lucky you, you managed to dodge it in time. Within seconds, you killed it.
"YAAAAAAASSSS!" Sasha cheered.
"Oiii! Don't be too happy. There's still more titans to be killed." Connie frowned.
Sasha went silent and her face turned pale. She nodded as we glide forward. Suddenly, You heard someone screaming. It sounded so familiar. Then it struck you.
'That voice....that's...that's... ELLE!' You thought to yourself. Elle was your close friend when you were little.
"ELLE!" You called out her name. She was on one of the house's rooftop. She was too scared to move, she could only stand there and watch as the titan grabbed her. Your eyes went wide. Quickly, you glide towards the titan that grabbed her, leaving your teammates. You separated from them but you didn't care! The titan opened its mouth wide to eat her when you stabbed its eyes, taking away its eyesight. The titan roared in pain and let go of Elle. You managed to catch her in time.
"Elle, ARE YOU OKAY?" You asked. She was shivering in fear, her eyes wide open. She tried to voice out but she couldn't so she nodded her head.
"I'm glad. You should rest in the meantime. Where are your teammates?"
Tears rolled down from her eyes and she finally got her voice back.
"T-they're....d-dead." She stuttered. You lowered your head and nodded.
"I see. They've fulfilled their duty.." You were too focused onto Elle that you didn't realise the titan was approaching you. And another titan approaching from the back. You frowned as you look at the titans wondering how you're going to kill it. If you try to kill one of them, the other one will grab Elle and eat her. You can't let that happen!
"ELLE! Do you have any strength left to run?" You asked.
"I-I---" Before she could answer back, one of the titans grabbed her. She screamed at the top of her lungs for help and pleading it not to eat her.
"NOOOOOOO!" You launched your anchor, rushing towards Elle when suddenly you felt something pulling you back. You turned around and saw the titan grabbing onto your wire, dragging you towards it. You struggled to escape when it grabbed you tightly knocking out the air from your lungs. You couldn't breathe properly. You froze when you heard the sound of the crunching of Elle'sbones and the flesh being ripped open. The only thing you could do was to watch her being eaten alive. The titan then ate her up fully. Your focus now was on the titan gripping onto you tightly. You endured the pain and hold back your tears. You didn't want to cry. You didn't want to show any weakness. With your strength, you took your blade and stabbed its hands really deep but it didn't let go of you. You got closer and closer to its mouth. The titan munched your legs first, your bones almost shattered when suddenly, someone slashed off the nape of the titan's neck causing it to let go of you. You fell and shut your eyes tightly, bracing yourself for the impact. But you didn't land on anything hard. Instead, you landed on something warm yet soft and comfortable. You opened your eyes and realized you were in Levi's arm.
"Wha-what?" You couldn't believe what you just saw. Levi. Just. Saved. You.
You landed on of the rooftop.
"T-thank you." Your cheeks turned red. Suddenly the pain in your legs struck you, causing you to lose balance and fall to the ground.
"(Y/n)!" He panicked.
"I'm okay! My legs just hurt a little. " You stood up but fall back to the ground.
"Tch." He helped you to get on your feet.
"Don't risk your life in saving someone! You'll end up getting eaten." He scolded.
"You're strong but reckless at the same time. Your recklessness might drive you to your demise! Be careful."
You sighed and nodded.
"I didn't get to save her..... I'm so stupid... If only--" your words were cut off by Levi, embracing you tightly.
"Shut up. Don't blame yourself, Idiot."
You backed away and faced him.
"Levi-heichou, we need to hurry. Many people are dying as we speak. We can't let that happen!" You were about to launch your anchor when Levi stopped you.
"You're not fighting for the meantime."
"WHAT?!?" You shouted.
"Your legs are bleeding, i***t. You might not have enough strength to fight the titans."
"Shut up. I will kill all the titans even it means my own death!" You vowed and launched your anchor leaving Levi behind.
**Levi's POV**
I was shocked by (y/n)'s response and slightly smile after she went away.
"Thats my (y/n)." I muttered.
