Chapter 8: Special Operations Squad

**(Y/N)'s POV**
"When the titans attacked,, how many titans did you killed?" He asked.
"13...wait no!" You counted how many titans you killed in your head.
"15." You confirmed the answer.
"Hoo~ Not bad.I want you to join my squad." He let go of your arm and walked away.
"Come to my office." He instructed. You stared in space. You couldn't believe what he just said. You followed Levi behind as you enter his office.
"I haven't ask you your name yet."
You froze upon hearing that.
'Should I make up a name? Uhhhh' you thought to yourself ,panicking.
"Uhhh,, well,, uhmmmm."
"Are you going to tell me or not?" He snapped.
"ALESSA HARMONY." You blurted out.
'What the hell? Why did I blurted out that name? And who the hell is Alessa Harmony?' you facepalm-ed and faced Levi.
"My name is Alessa Harmony."
"Hoo~ Alessa huh? Why are you wearing a mask and an eyepatch?" He rested his arms on the table and stared at you.
"Th-that,sir, is a question that cannot be answered."
"Tch. Fine. But could you please take it off? I want to see your face."He frowned.
"NO!" You stood up immediately. You realised that you've just raised your voice so you sat back down.
"I'm sorry, heichou, but I can't. Don't ask me why." You replied.
"Tch.You reminded me of someone."
"Who?"
"Its none of your business." He said and handed me a new wings of freedom cape since yours were slightly ruined.
"T-thanks."
Suddenly someone barged in.
"YOOOOOOOOOOOO!" You felt a tighten grip around your waist. You turned around and saw Hanji.
"H-hey."
"So you're the new member huh? WELL THAT'S GREAT! YOU CAN BE MY ASSISTANT FOR MY TITAN EXPERIMENT!" She exclaimed.
"HUH?! Uhmm well,, I don't thi---" your words were cut off by Hanji.
"GREAT!"She grinned from ear to ear.
'Titans? Oh god........'
You gulped. You tried to call out for Hanji but she was already gone by then. You facepalm-ed and faced Levi.
"Alessa, tomorrow we'll be going to the Recon Corps HQ. Its nothing but a renovated castle and its beyond the walls. We're using that place to serve as Eren's hideout."
"Eren...."you muttered. You missed him so muchh.
"Yeah. So get ready, we'll set off at 8 in the morning." He said and you nodded.
*Next Morning*
You and the members of the Special Ops Squad gathered. A young lady with light ginger hair and amber-coloured eyes approached you.
"Hii! So you're the new member huh? My name is Petra Ral. And this Eld,Gunther & Oluo." She introduced.
"Hello. My name is Alessa Harmony. Its nice meeting all of you. I'm looking forward to working with you!" You smiled under your mask.
"Why are you wearing a mask?" Oluo asked.
"And an eyepatch." Gunther added.
"Ohhmygod guys, you can't just ask someone why their wearing that." Eld snapped.
"Why?"
"Different people have different taste of fashion." Eld said.
"That's fashion?" Oluo stuck his tongue out.
You and the others then tame their horses before riding on it. Your horse was a beautiful white horse. You smiled upon seeing that.
"I shall call you Winter." Winter neighed at you.
You and the others rode on your horses and set off to the Recon Corps HQ. Your eyes were locked on Eren. You missed him so much that you could just jump on him and hug him. Not that you like him or anything.Eren notice how you kept staring at him. He tried to approach you when Oluo went in between you guys and whispered to Eren something. You didn't care and looked forward. You finally reached your destination.
"It looks terrible." Gunther sighed
"It's been disused for a very long time. Inside, a sea of dust is probably awaiting us."
"Then lets get to work." Levi interrupted their conversation.
We got to work and each of us were given a room to clean. You had to clean it million times to ensure the room is SPARKLY CLEAN or else Levi will kill you. You sighed and dropped to the floor.
"This is going to take foreverr." You groaned as Eren appeared.
"Hey."
"Hey." You waved at him.
"Why were you staring at me?" He asked while he lean his broom against the wall.
"I was?" You played dumb
"Hah. Anyway, you're Alessa right? Nice to meet you." He smiled.
"EREEEEN!" Levi called out his name.
"Ohgod. I bet I missed one spot. Gotta go. Talk to you later!" Eren rushed off.
You laid on the floor,exhausted. The mask you were wearing was irritating and the eyepatch too. You secretly took it off revealing your true identity.
"OHMYGOD THIS FEELS SO GOOD!"
You were too busy enjoying the feeling when a voice appeared.
"Oh sorry, I left my broom here." (Auth:broom,broom. GET OUT MY CAR. Awww" okay ignore me. I just remembered a funny vine.)
You froze upon hearing that voice. It was Eren. You stood up immediately and tried to cover your face but it was too late.
"(Y/N)?!!?!?!!?!?" Eren gasped.
You forced a smile.
"Hey,Eren..............."
"Is....that...really...you?!?" He looked at you in disbelief.
"Yeah, I--" Eren cut your sentence with a hug. You hugged him back as tears flowed from your eyes.
"I MISS YOU. Where did you go?!?!? I WAS WORRY SICK!!" He hold your shoulders tightly.
You explained to him everything from a to z. He was shock and speechless.
"You.....a titan?! Thats...thats.. whoaaa." He gasped as you nodded.
"Wait unil the others know about this! And They were so worried about you!"Before Eren could run out, you grabbed his arm.
"Don't! Please! Don't tell them.... I...I can't face them...I'm ashame of myself." You lowered your head as Eren approached you and lift up your head. You stared at his green orbs. His lips smashed onto yours as tears rolled from your eyes. He wrap his arms around your waist and pulled you closer into a deeper kiss. You wanted to kiss him back but you refuse to.
'My heart only belongs to Levi' You pushed him away, breaking the kiss.
"S-sorry." You apologised.
Eren looked at you and said," I promise I won't tell anyone." You smiled upon hearing that.
"EREEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNN GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE!" Levi shouted from below.
"s**t, I'm dead. Bye,(y/n!) or Alessa." He took his broom and run out.
You sank to the floor and let out a huge breath. You put on your mask and your eyepatch.
After hours of cleaning, its finally dinner. You went to the dining room and discovered Eren,Petra,Gunther,Eld ,Oluo and Levi. You sighed and sat on the wooden chair.
"We'll probably be ordered to stand by for a few more days, I heard we're going on a large-scale extramural expedition and we're also bringing the fresh graduates with us too."Eld said putting down his cup of tea.
"Really? But thats too soon. Even considering that they handled the last Titan Attack quite well." Gunther said.
"Tch. I heard those kid's pants required multiple of washing to remove the shitstain." Oluo laughed.
You narrowed your eyes towards him when suddenly someone barged it.
"HELLO THEEEREE! Have you made yourselves at home in the castle?" Hanji grinned widely.
"I'm charged with the experiment on the two titans we caught alive in the city. I want you to help me out with the experiment tomorrow,Eren.You too,Alessa!" Hanji said.
"Experiment? what kind of--?" Eren stopped his words as he look at Hanji that was crazily smiling.
"Hm?" Hanji smiled from ear to ear.
"What kind of experiment?" Eren completed his sentence.
"Oi! Shut u---" Oluo's words were cut off.
"I knewww it! So you are interested! Let me tell you about..."
All the members then stood up and left. Except for you,Levi,Hanji & Eren.
"Ehhhhhhhhhhhhh?!?!? Nevermind, lets talk outside." She dragged Eren out. Now what's left was only you and Levi. Awkwardness and silence filled the room.
You cleared your throat as you stared at the food.
"Aren't you gonna eat?" He spoke to you.You continued staring at it.
"Just take off your mask alr---" You then cut off his words.
"I heard that a girl from Survey Corps is still missing......"You gulped.
Levi immediately know who the girl you were referring to.
"Yeah, I haven't seen her for days. Tch. She's either dead or ran away so that she wont get eaten up by the titans."Levi gripped the handle of the cup filled with black coffee and drank it.
"I see.... Do you miss her."
Levi froze and tighten his grip on the handle and put it down.
"No." He said sternly and got up leaving the dining room.
'So.....I'm nothing to you?....... I see...hah...I'm so stupid..hoping that you'll miss me. Tch'
After you finished your food, you changed into a white long sleeve shirt and a skater skirt. You went out to gaze at the stars sparkling across the beautiful raven sky. You sat on the grass and pulled your legs closer to you.
**Levi's POV**
"Do you miss her?" Alessa asked.
I had no other choice but to lie to her.
"No." I got up and headed to my room. I sat on the sofa and closed my eyes thinking about (y/n).
'(Y/n), where are you? I don't have the time to look for you. Please, be alright and...please come back.....' I thought to myself and stood up. I went outside to take a fresh air when I heard someone sobbing. I looked over and saw a girl wearing a white shirt crying. I went up to her sitting beside her.
"You look like a ghost." I said looking up at the stars.
"Whaat?" Alessa wiped the tears away.
"Tch. Take that mask off."
"No."
"Its an order!"
"No."
"TAKE THAT DAMN THING OFF!"
"HELL NO!" She shouted back. Anger filled me. I quickly leaned forward and tried to take it off but she moved away. I hold her hands and pinned her to the ground. Using my other hand, I reached for the eyepatch but to no avail.
"S-stop. DONT!" She kicked me so hard on the stomach that I fell backwards.
She took this opportunity and ran away.
"ALESSA!" I shouted. I sighed and rolled my eyes.
'Just what is wrong with her?'

You went to your room and closed the door behind you, locking it.
"TOO CLOSE! TOO CLOSEEEEEE!"
