Finding Home In New York

Christy stepped off the train and walk into the bustling street of New York. The bright lights and honking horns were far from the quiet town she grew up in.She had always dreamed of making it big in the city And after so many years of longing she finally had her chance. As a first timer in an unknown city Christy felt a thrill of excitement as she called a taxi and gave the driver the address to her new apartment , “Finally” Christy said while breathing a sigh of relief, As she gazed out the window, the feeling,the sight and sound gave her a relief feeling which she has longed for.. Christy finally got to her apartment, The driver also helped with her luggage while she take her loads inside.After settling in she looks around,she look up and down placing her hand on the wall in her room while walking around the room; she then whispered “This is my life now” with a satisfied expression. After all the unpacking stress she finally decided to eat and rest for a lil bit but while resting Christy couldn’t shake off the feeling of uncertainty, “What if I failed?” She said “What if the city wasn’t as magical as i imagined” this question was on her mind throughout the night,she took a deep breath and said to herself that she was ready to face whatever challenges came her way.
