The excitement was still buzzing in me even after we’d left the hospital gates way behind. I turned to Killian wide-eyed not fully believing we’d actually managed it. It felt like a prison break. All this exhilaration! Is this how criminals felt when they escaped prison. Not pretty much a good comparison but- “I’m pretty sure this is a crime.” I let out as I turned to look at Killian. He was the very definition of carefree. “I’m pretty sure we’re getting away with it.” He replied with a mischievous smile lighting up his face. I couldn’t help but laugh. This just widened his smile as he turned up the music. “I hope you don’t mind?” he asked politely. But I had a feeling he didn’t really care whether I mind or not. I shook my head amused. Note to self, my beloved husband listens to EDM.
