Isn't it such a disgrace to be the daughter of one of the most powerful werewolves in existence and still be a human? Just a human. Nothing more, nothing less.

Blakeley’s life has always been a living hell as she had to adapt to the life style of a werewolf. After successfully graduating the Academy of the Supernatural, she thought it was all over until she realised she had to have a mate.

The search of the mate began and she got passed around by Alphas. The search ended when Blakeley fell in the hands of the Alpha of Alphas. Just like they call him, he is death and the destroyer of the world. The demon wolf.

What happens when a human crosses the path of demon wolf? What use can a human be to a demon wolf?

A meal or a mate?

A Mate
“Do you, Ariadne Willow, take Dylan Miller as your lawfully wedded husband and mate for life?” The priest questioned the couples standing before him. “I do.” Ariadne replied. “And do you, Dylan Miller, take Ariadne Willow as your bride and mate for life?” “I do.” Dylan replied. “By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife.” He announced and there it was, the last couple in Blakeley’s pack getting married. She joined the crowd in cheering and put on a smile, behind the smile were thousands of emotions that couldn't be expressed. She watched as they walked out of the ballroom and entered their car, they got in happily and drove away to have their best lives. They say packs don't split up but at a point, everyone’s got to have their life. They have been a pack since they were young. They all met at the Academy for the supernaturals. They were the strongest pack in the school and they were highly respected, mostly because most Alphas in their pack were true Alphas. They didn't become an Alpha by taking another Alpha’s soul or because their parents were Alphas. They earned it by not putting other people down to build themselves up. ‘Everyone is worthy of the same respect you expect people to pay to you.’ That's it, that is all you have to do to become a true Alpha but it's not that simple, not everyone has a good intention and a pure heart. Having the most powerful Alphas in her pack was a great advantage, it made her graduate from the Academy with honour and dignity. “Come on, I am getting sick and tired of this place.” She heard her father say and he walked ahead of her with her mother and her younger sister trailing behind him. She sighed and walked after them, they got out of the ballroom and walked towards the car. The guards opened the door for them and they all stepped in. Without anybody saying a word to each other, the chauffeur drove out of the parking lot and drove into the streets. Arriving at their mansion, she watched as guards rushed to form a line just to welcome them. The car pulled over and they all made their way out with the guards helping them with the door, they all walked into the house and she headed for the stairs immediately. “Hold it right there.” She heard her father order and she exhaled, she already knew what was about to happen. “Cassie, go to your room.” Her mother ordered her younger sister and she nodded before rushing up the stairs. “Dad, please can we just forget about... “ “Forget about what? That was the last couple in your pack getting married.” He said and her mother watched. “Yeah, so?” Blakeley asked. “So? You are twenty-two years old Blakeley and you don't even have someone you are dating not to talk of him close to being a mate.” “Here we go again.” She scoffed and rolled her eyes. “Hank, please.” Her mother begged and he glared at her. “All you do is sit at home all day, you are useless.” “Well, it's not my fault I don't have any powers! You made me this way! I am not a werewolf and I am nothing close to being an Alpha but instead, you worked your way for me to join an Alpha pack!” “I did you a favour.” “No. You did yourself a favour because of the embarrassment you would go through.” “Of course, I did it for myself too. I am part of the leaders of the council. What image do you think I will display if the members of the council are aware my first daughter is not even a wolf?” “It's not my fault!” Blakeley yelled and her mother sighed. “Don't you dare raise your voice at me.” “Or what, Hank? You are ripping my throat out?” She snapped and walked away, her father breathed out heavily and ran his hands through his hair. “I think you should take things easy with her. It is not her fault she doesn't have her powers yet.” “Of course, you would be on her side. Sometimes I doubt if she is my daughter.” “What the f**k Hank?” She snapped and he rolled his eyes at her before walking away. Blakeley sighed repeatedly as she went through the wedding photos of Ariande and Dylan, they are such a cute couple. She couldn't deny the jealousy she was feeling. She used to imagine herself ending up with Dylan, he was the strongest in their pack. He was adored by everyone because of his looks and kind heart. She knew her dreams of being with him couldn't come true a long time ago, why would he want to make a human his mate? She dropped her phone and sighed again. She knows her chances of finding a mate are really slim, even if her father's power could get her to join an Alpha pack, she knows it couldn't get her a mate. Life has really been hard on her, it's not really easy to pretend to be what you are not, especially a supernatural being. She always had to act strong, cover up her scars and injuries so it would look like she had healed. Sometimes her sister would have to take her pain when it became unbearable. Life hasn't been the best for her and her father has always found ways to make things worse. After going through her phone to her satisfaction, she dropped it and lay on her bed properly, she closed her eyes and within a few minutes, she fell asleep. ********* Blakeley packed her hair into a bun and walked out of her room, she walked down the stairs and paused when she got to the living room. There was a man there sitting on the couch and he seemed to be in a deep conversation with her parents, while her sister sat opposite them and watched them. “Hey, Cassie.” She whispered and her sister turned to her. She stood up and walked to Blakeley. “Hey, good morning.” “Yeah, yeah. Who is that man?” She whispered. “You know they will still hear us despite the whisper?” “Just f*****g answer me.” She groaned and rolled her eyes. “Well, I will do the introduction.” Her father said, turning to her. “Meet Alpha Dante, your mate and husband.” “You’ve got to be kidding me.”
