The first hours of Kates sleep was, as one often encounters when one have been drinking, completely blacked out. Any thoughts or dreams she might have had, were like erased by the Great Writer of Dreams - if such a being were ever to exist. It was only when her first alarm rang (an hour before she had to leave), that she groaned, opened her eyes and snoozed, and then fell into a memory disguised as a dream.
In the dream, she awoke like she did in real life; a bit hungover and with Chris by her side. However, this wasn't the bed she'd gone to sleep in, but rather a hotel she found vaguely familiar. As she turned to face Chris, she found not the man she'd gone to sleep with, but rather a younger him, a young adult, if you will. However, no confusion was to be found, but rather she accepted this as fact, as one is wont to do when they're dreaming.
"How's your head?" this Chris asked while he smiled, but his eyes weren't as loving as she was used to. She looked around a bit confused, pulling the sheet up to cover her, as she realized it was, naked chest. "Where am I?" she whispered, finally settling on his face as she felt a plethora of emotions rush through her. Fear, confusion, embarrassment. The guy raised an eyebrow. "Uhm, we're at my hotel room." he said, slowly, making what she found to be a rude gesture at first (very much "duh, look around" in her head).
Kate paused, crossing her arms while still holding tightly on to the cover. "And who might you be, then?" she said, trying to match his arrogance. He looked rather surprised, as he answered with his name and where they met. Suddenly, all the memories came rushing back, and she turned a shade of cranberry that made her face burn. "Oh... Right." She looked away, quickly, still holding on to the feeble cloth even though she knew he had already seen everything worth seeing.
She bit her lip as she looked around, settling her eyes on what looked to be her dress, neatly folded on a chair with her shoes underneath. She had an inkling that she hadn't done that herself, and she turned to look at him again, puzzled. "Did you.. Did you fold my dress?" Chris looked towards the chair, then shrugged. "Yeah. I was up anyway. You hungry?" he asked, taking a quick glance at the clock. As she looked up at it, she discovered that it was already 3 o'clock. She gasped. She hadn't even thought about food, but now her stomach was roaring in a way that would make a dragon green in jealousy. She felt her face get hot again. "Yeah. Guess I am."
He nodded, then turned to grab the whole phone, putting it on his lap. "What do you want? I'll just order something." Kate paused. She had no idea what a hotel would offer, having never been in a proper one before. Quietly, she asked: "Do you think they have pizza or something? Maybe bacon and pancakes?" Chris nodded, and rang 2 on the phone, quickly phoning in an order of some of both of those things, then some eggs and bacon for himself.
Kate sat up better against the headboard, suddenly getting a flashback of him, leaning against it as she rode him. She couldn't even look at him, instead just staring straight past him as she fiddled with the cover. He clearly sensed the tension. "Uhm, do you want to have a shower or something..?" Kate nodded, and he got up and started walking towards the door. "Okay cool, let me show you the way." Only then did she realize that he was still fully nude. Not only that, but she also noticed a bunch of bruises all over, and what appeared to be a myriad of small scars.
What the f**k did you get yourself into this time, Kate? she scolded herself internally, and picked up the duvet as she got up to follow him, still covering herself.
However, he did actually show her directly to the bathroom, and asked no questions about why she was still covering herself. However, she could not extend the same graces. "Uhm, are you not-- do you not want-- you're naked." she finally just blurted out, getting no actual questions out. Chris looked at her, puzzled, then looked down over himself. Putting up a comically mortified face, he looked up at her again. "Oh my god!" Then he laughed and opened the door to the bathroom for her. "Yeah, they don't cover up statues just because they're a bit nakey." He flexed his arms, as she rolled her eyes. He was wayyy full of himself.
"Don't peek." she said, then sighed as she walked in, closing and locking the door behind her.
As she let the warm water wash his scent away and warm her up, she strained to think about what had happened last night. She seemed to remember most of it. Though some of them she didn't want to remember. Like when she ground on his lap and let him suck her n*****s. In the club. She shook her head, as if that would make the memory fade, but instead the realization stuck that she had liked it.
She bit her lip as she looked towards the door, then shook her head again and decided to spend as much time as she could in this nice, warm shower, using up almost all of the soap before she finally had to face the realization that she had to go back out there again. To him.
