Chris turned his head to look back at her, and as their eyes met, time stood still for a second. Everyone was quiet for a second, before one of the milk guys on the floor started to beg her for help. Kate broke the eye contact to look down at him, and Chris followed suit. Chris looked up at her, then extended his right leg and gave him a slight kick. "Shut up." Kate looked up at Chris again as the guy went quiet.
"So." she finally broke her silence. "You decided to break the 'no work at home' rule?" Chris slowly shook his head, then turned to look at milk guy. "Could you explain exactly what happened, here?" Michael opened and closed his mouth a couple of times, before he leaned forward and desperately pleaded with Kate. "Listen, this guy just jumped us and dragged us in here! You gotta help us!"
Chris clicked his tongue, but before he could start berating him Kate spoke up, cutting Michaels rambling off. "For some reason, I don't believe that. That's not generally what he does." She pauses. "Well, recently, anyway.”
Chris smiled at her defense of him, and it grew bigger as she continued. "So, I don't know what the f**k you did to get him pissed off to these levels, but honestly, you dug yourself into this hole. Are we still on for the date?" she finally finished, and Chris quickly rose up to his feet. "Of course, babe." he answered, quickly walking over to her, but she veered back when he went to kiss her, which put a frown on his face. "Now, I'm gonna go put on some new clothes, and when I'm out, I want this situation dealt with. Deal?" Chris nodded. "Only if you lay some clothes out for me as well." Kate nodded, and sent one last glance over the living room before turning on her heel and went into the bedroom, leaving the guys to Chris.
As soon as he heard the door close, he sighed and looked back at them. "Now, we can do it the hard way, or the easy way. The easy way is a lot easier for me, but the hard way will let you leave here alive. Any in favour of hard, please raise your hand." When they all silently, one of them shaking, raised their hand, he sighed and looked around. "Fine. But that involves staying the f**k put. If you're as much as thinking about doing any kind of unsavoury business, I will absolutely destroy all of you. Got it?" He got no replies, and therefore briskly walked up to the couch, and grabbed his phone out from under the knocked out guy, who thankfully had started to wake back up. "Hello. B-4, Chris. I need a slightly bigger clean-up crew, for live retrieval. Yes, thank you."
Right about then, it seemed like they sorta realized that they were in deep f*****g s**t. Two pairs of eyes were turned to Michael, who looked around at them with no answer. "Now, none of you are going to remember anything of what's happened once you wake up, but you should really stop listening to, uh" he sent a quick glance at milk guy and the information lens reminded him of his name, "Michael. Never have I ever seen someone get their boxers in so much of a twist." Chris took a quick glance around, hoping to find a box of cigarettes, but he had to give up. He didn't usually smoke inside the house. However, some rules should be meant to be broken. He looked towards the door when Kate came out of the bedroom, her heels clicking faintly on the floor. "Wow." was all he could muster when he saw her beautiful figure, wrapped in a gorgeous black dress. "You remind me of the first time we met." he said, getting off the couch and walking over to her, to which she giggled. "You can't say that anytime I'm wearing a black dress." she said teasingly as she gave him a kiss. It was easier, now that they were the same height because of the heels.
Chris sighed as he leaned into the kiss. What a day. And what a way it could've been ruined. She quickly pulled back, however, and peeked over his shoulder. "So..." she started, leaving a pregnant pause. Chris leaned against the doorway as he kept his gaze on her, unfazed. "Yes?"
She gestured towards the guys, and he finally took a look back, but quickly looked back at her again, still not saying anything. She rolled her eyes as she teasingly put a hand against his chest, and gave him a playful shove. He took a half-stumble, but had a complete s**t-eating grin. "What? What do you want from me? Huh?" Kate sighed, then crossed her arms. "This isn't funny, Chris. What's going on with those guys? Did you go all soft on me?"
Chris chuckled as he took a long gaze over her body. "Not at all, Katie-baby. You know me better than to assume that." As he finished his sentence he took a glance down towards his own member, then quickly looked up at her again, his grin remaining. When her arms remained crossed, however, he finally sighed. "Yeah yeah, I've got clean-up on their way. Don't worry. I've got it." At this, she smiled and finally uncrossed her arms. "Good. I've put out some clothes for you on the bed." Chris paused, then took a look back at them all. "Now be good boys and stay put." As he moved out into the hallway, he pressed a button on the doorway and a fence slid down over all the doors out of, as well as the windows into, the living room.
