Chapter 10

1510 Words
Enzo’s POV I’m fuming and counting the last 30 days before I go home, something has been happening back there I know it has. No one except mum answers my calls, dads been avoiding me for months and so has Savannah. Mum keeps saying everything is fine but there is a hint of something in the tone of her voice. Not even my men are telling me anything and I’m beginning to lose patience with everyone. I have become more vicious over the last few months and my trainers couldn’t be more impressed with my change, now when I get home things are going to change and no one will be keeping s**t from me any longer and if they do, they face the consequences. Savannah’s POV I have one month, and Enzo finally comes home, I haven’t spoken to him since before I went into my coma, I had already stopped video calling him. After the first attack at Morgans I couldn’t face him, and after the last attack I can’t hear his voice just yet. I’m not strong enough yet, I have needed him so bad, but I know I have to stay strong for 30 more days that’s it. I do have something to keep me busy and that’s my training, I will be at my best when Enzo gets home, and I will show everyone just how strong I am. I still haven’t been to see my attacker yet, I needed to be at full strength before I saw him. I am going there tonight to finish this and find out once and for all who was behind the attack, I haven’t allowed anyone to speak with him about why he is being held or who is holding him. Apparently, he likes a chat, but my men don’t, I’ve been told he is whining about the lack of conversation. I wonder how talkative he will be when he realizes it’s been me holding him the entire time. I have to lose my security tonight my dad tightened it the day after the attack, I’ve been told that I have had guards at my door since I went into my coma. I have been back at work a few weeks now, and they haven’t given me five minutes. I even have an escort for bathroom breaks, it’s f*****g ridiculous. As if I will let what happened happen again, everyone but Morgan still thinks I have no memory of my attack. Even my own men think I don’t fully remember that night, they think I only know what the video shows me. They will learn the truth tonight, and so will everyone else depending on what my attacker has to say tonight. When I get home from work I head straight to my room, the only place my security isn’t allowed to follow me. I take a quick shower and change into black leggings and a tight-fitting black hoodie. Getting out wasn’t easy but I managed to and as I get to the gates Morgan is there waiting in his car. It doesn’t take us long to get to the building I’m holding my attacker, it’s in the name of my shell corporation that not even my father knows I’m a part of. I don’t like keeping things from my family but I’m protecting my future just like my father taught me, I want to make sure that if anything ever goes wrong, I’m set up to start a new life. Not even Enzo will be able to link me to the corporation, I’ve made sure of that myself. When we get into the building I head straight to the basement, but as I place my hand on the scanner Morgan grabs my shoulder. He turns me to face him with a concerned look on his face before asking me, “Are you sure you’re up for this?” I give a curt nod before turning back to the door, I’m no longer Savvy now I’m Savannah Costa and I need to show people I’m not to be messed with. When I’m dealing with anything business related, I am a different person than who I am with my family or friends. I’m known as the cold-hearted Costa, the mafia princess not to be played with. Morgan and I walk down the stairs hearing someone talking excitedly about beating up some dumb b***h apparently. He enjoyed his ride on the mafia princess everyone wants but no one can touch. Oh, that’s me by the way. I can’t hide the smirk on my face as I round the corner to where my attacker can see me, the look on his face is priceless and as expected his not so talkative now. I look at him with a raised brow before saying “Please continue telling everyone how you rode that b***h and then roughed her up, I’d love to hear the ending.” I have to hold in a laugh when he visibly gulps, my guards who have remained silent the entire time give me a nod before heading up the stairs leaving Morgan and I alone with my attacker. No one says a word as I head to the fridge and grab three bottles of water, I pass one to Morgan and one to the man that attacked me keeping the last for myself. As I pass my attacker his bottle, I pull it away and ask “Name?” softly. He clears his throat before answering “Oh um, Craig.” I hand him the water, as I turn away, I say seductively “Nice to meet you, Craig.” I walk a few steps away and turn back to him opening my bottle and taking a sip making sure Craig is watching. He and Morgan follow suit both opening theirs and taking a drink. I use my hand to fan myself as I roll the bottle over my chest saying, “Boy it’s warm in here.” Both men nearly chock on their drinks. Craig starts to shake his head as if trying to clear it, he looks at me asking “Wh, what did yo, you give me?” I giggle before replying “Never trust a mafia princess for we are more deadly than the kings.” I sneer at him right before he crumbles to his knees, Morgan looks at me and then his own water bottle in complete and utter fear. I can’t hold my laugh in any longer, I manage to catch my breath and say, “OMG your face, what did you think I poisoned you as well?” I have to take a few deep breaths to stop from laughing again. Morgans fear turns to confusion before he asks, “How did you know you gave him the right one?” I don’t respond straight away walking towards the cell and opening the door. I step inside and grab Craigs water bottle, when I step out again, I give it to Morgan showing him a tiny hole leaking a drop of water. Thanks to the condensation on the bottle, you wouldn’t know the hole was there. Morgan looks at me a little shocked but before he can say anything I say, “I injected the bottle just before I gave it to him, I’m not some novice Morgan.” I show him the syringe rolling my eyes at his lack of faith in me. It's the same with everyone, they always underestimate just what I am truly capable of. I walk back into the cell and pull on a chain looking at Morgan expectantly before I say “Well, are you gonna lift the fat f**k so I can cuff him and hang him?” I roll my eyes again when Morgan shook himself out of his shock and comes in the cell lifting Craig and bringing him to the cuffs. Once I had him cuffed, I push a button on the wall and the chain started pulling him up until he was on his tip toes still unconscious. The drugs I gave him won’t knock him out for long, then the fun can really begin I just hope his as talkative about who hired him as he is about everything else. I get to work quickly setting up everything I need; Morgan is standing in the middle of the cell with a stunned expression never seeing this side of my fully. I waste no time opening all my hidden compartments that are holding all my tools and grabbing whatever I fancy playing with today. I stop for a second and look at Morgan with a smirk on my face before saying to him “Are you just going to stand and stare, or do you think you could get that bucket and fill it with cold water and ice.” I point at the bucket I need; it takes him another couple of seconds before he starts moving towards the bucket, I turn and continue grabbing what I need.
