Chapter 11

1709 Words
Savannah's POV I set everything up on the cot in the cell as Morgan puts the bucket next to me, I don’t turn away from my tools as I say “Can you put it at his feet? Oh, and put one of his feet in it.” I instruct to a confused Morgan; he does what I ask without questioning me though. He hasn’t said a word since I drugged our guest, I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not. Once he has done what I asked he steps back and continues to watch me with a confused expression, well until I turn to him with jump leads. Realization dawns on him and he looks at me and gulps figuring out what I’m going to do, I can’t stop the chuckle that leaves my lips as I attach them to the metal bucket our new friend Craig has his foot in. I look at him as he starts to stir hoping he doesn’t wake up just yet, I want to give him a good start to wake him up. Craig stops groaning and thankfully stays unconscious I make quick work of setting everything else up, I grab a chair for Morgan and tell him “Sit.” So I can finish setting up the last thing, I turn on the generator I just dragged in. As I turn back, I notice Morgan has done as I asked a taken a seat. I then grab the other end of the jump leads and attach them to the generator giving Craig a nice little shock to wake him up, which it does, it also makes Morgan jump a little. He covers it well, but I notice as I quickly turn the generator off as craig starts looking around frantically. He nearly knocks the bucket over but doesn’t, I walk around in front of him and when his eyes meet mine, I see nothing but fear. I chuckle and look at Morgan before saying “Look Morgan our new friend Craig is finally awake, I wonder if he feels like a nice little chat.” I look Craig in the eye as I finish speaking and he shivers. I walk over in front of Craig and place my hand under my chin tapping my lip with a finger as if I’m lost in thought, I then focus on Craig and clap my hands together loudly causing him to jump a little. I smirk and say “So you have a choice here Craig, you tell me what I need to know, and you will die not feeling a thing. Or, you don’t say a word and I get to play with my toys, some are new, and I so want to play with them.” I finish in a sickly-sweet voice spinning craig round to see the cot set up with all my tools. I hear him scoff so spin him back round to face me, as he meets my eye, I have a sweet innocent look on my face that makes me look weak. I had to spend hours in the mirror perfecting this exact look. Craig now has a smirk as he looks between Morgan and I, Morgan catches his eyes, and I can see the slight fear in them and so can Craig. Morgan has never seen this side of me because he has always been there to save me, he has always seen me as the weak little princess whose legends do reality too much justice. No one has seen the extent of which I am capable and that is the way I have tried to keep it but no more, people need to learn that to hurt me is to sign your own death sentence. I will no longer be seen as weak, especially by the people closest to me. Craig snorts to himself before asking “Do you even know what those do, Little Girl.” I give him my best doe eyes before my expression turns into an evil glint and I respond “Why don’t we find out, hmm what should I start with? Morgan?” I add as I walk to pick up my first tool. Morgan still doesn’t say anything just shaking his head at me, I squeal in excitement before picking up the solder and soldering gun. I spin around and practically skip back to face Craig, I hold them up so he can see and flick the switch turning the gun on so it can heat up. He is bare foot, and his legs are strapped together so I grab the foot in the bucket and remove it for what I’m about to do, then I take the jump leads off the bucket I then grab the solder and push it under his toenail causing him to scream. I cut the solder and insert three pieces under each toenail, Craigs screams become worse with every piece I push in. Once all five toes have three pieces under on each foot, I grab the soldering gun, I look up at Craig before the gun makes contact with the solder and ask, “Who sent you after me?” I give him 5 seconds to answer and when he doesn’t, I put the solder gun against the solder under his big toe. Craigs screams make me giggle, I know I’m sick but that’s what happens when you’re expected to run the mafia. I mean come on I was fifteen when I first killed a man, I didn’t even blink an eye and I haven’t since. Once I have melted all the solder under Craigs big toe I give him a little break, he stops screaming when I remove the solder gun and he is now breathing heavy. I turn to see Morgan now has a look of excitement on his face, but I can still see the slight glint of fear in his eye. I hope me going all Savannah Costa on Craig doesn’t ruin our friendship, Morgan has no reason to fear me unless he ever betrays me. I turn back to Craig who looks like his going to pass out already, I snort and head over to the generator. Turning it back on I grab the jump leads next to him before putting them on his chest, I give him a quick shock just enough to wake him up. I then smirk bending back down to his feet again, I look up at him again asking “Who sent you after me?” I give him almost a minute this time and when he doesn’t answer me again, I grab the solder gun and start melting the solder under his toes again, only this time I don’t stop until there is no solder left to melt. Craig is a snotty screaming mess, begging me to kill him already before he passes out. I really thought he would be tougher than this, as it turns out he is a f*****g giant p***y. I can see myself getting bored easily with this one, I stand up and walk over to the cot and grab the shot of adrenalin. When I was setting up, I made sure to put a pulse reader on Craigs finger and looking at his heart rate right now he won’t last much longer. I am more than disappointed and can’t help but wonder why anyone would pick this joke to do a job, I’m also disgusted with myself for letting this f*****g weasel get the drop on me. I know what you’re think and yes, he is dangling from a chain right now, but I’ve seen teenage boys suffer worse than this and last a lot f*****g longer before needing adrenalin. I shove the needle into his arm causing his pulse to pick up quick as he stutters awake, I then go back to the cot grabbing the old faithful’s my pliers. I grab the step ladders in the corner and set them up behind Craig so I can reach his hands, I then step in front of him again as he pants at me. Before I say anything, Morgan says, “Do you really think you can manage much more, just tell her what she wants to know, and it will end.” I’m shocked by the pity I hear in his tone, it’s like he can’t stand much more of this either. To be fair the stench of burning feet and melted metal is enough to turn the strongest stomach, I’m wearing scented plugs. I never have liked the smell of burning flesh, that’s why I don’t eat meat or fish it doesn’t matter what sauce it’s cooked in I can still smell the cooked meat and it’s always put me off, ironic I know. Craig looks over my shoulder before bringing his gaze back to me, he looks at me with pleading eyes before begging “Please if I tell you who it is they will kill my family, if I don’t tell you then they live.” I regard him for a second before asking “And what makes you so sure I wouldn’t kill your family after you?” I narrow my eyes at him as he answers, “The legends about you are proving true so far, I know you don’t hurt the innocent and my family are.” I’m surprised at his sudden stern determination; I’m also pissed that yet again he has the drop on me. I won’t hurt his family his right, they are innocent I can’t control the growl that leaves my throat as I lunge and start punching him repeatedly in the face. I have never lost control like this, but I can’t hold my anger, Morgan has to pull me off Craig kicking and screaming. He carried me out of the cell and put me down but kept his arms tightly wrapped around me. I took a few deep breaths and when I was calm enough, I stepped out of his embrace, him letting me I don’t turn around when I say, “Kill him.” I then just walk away from them both, holding in my tears of anger, disappointment, and disgust.
