As exciting as this was for both my wolf and I, I still had the task of acting like I wasn't over the moon with all that was happening.
“What did you just say?” Elizabeth asked me again.
I grabbed Elizabeth’s hand and gently placed it over my chest. The warmth of her touch sent a shiver down my spine, and I took a step closer to her, looking deep into her eyes.
“Can you feel it?” I asked softly.
Elizabeth’s brow furrowed in confusion. “Feel what?” she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.
I smiled, leaning my head forward.
