Elizabeth's POV. “Do not talk to me,” he said, his voice cold and final. Tyson didn’t even wait for my response; he turned and walked out, leaving me standing there, heartbroken and lost. The weight of his words settled over me like a suffocating blanket. I couldn’t breathe, couldn’t think. I couldn't speak. My body was vibrating. I rose to my feet, legs trembling, and made my way to the bathroom. I needed a splash of water on my face, something to jolt me out of this emotional freefall. In the small, tiled room, the cool water from the sink provided a brief relieve from the heat of my tears. I splashed my face, hoping to wash away the pain. Raising my head, I looked into the mirror. A broken reflection stared back at me—eyes puffy and red, swollen and wet. I barely recognized myself.
