Elizabeth’s PoV.
As soon as I came home last night, I couldn't find the alpha.
I searched around for him but still couldn't find him and so I gave up my search and returned to our room.
I remembered seeing Sandra earlier. Something kept telling me that his mother might have matched them up together and maybe she wanted me as far away as possible from her son.
I didn't bother to check anymore. I returned to the room with a bowl of cereal, ate it and then slept.
I remembered sitting on the couch and eating my cereal before I slept but when I awoke, I was laid on the bed, the bowl kept away and my body covered with a blanket.
I sat on the edge of the bed, the soft cushion offering little comfort to the turmoil in my heart.
