TINE'S POV
“ So tell us about your world,” after my little breakdown and discovery, alot of people, especially the nurses were very curious about me.
“ Well nothing special happens where I come from, at least none that I know of,” but most annoying moments was answering questions like.
“ Do people eat there,”
“ Do people sleep?”
“ Do people own houses and go to jobs,”
“ Are people smart there and do you know how to read and drive,”
Like where in the world did they think I came from? The jungle? Even in the jungle I still had to eat.
“ Guys that's enough, you are tiring Tine with senseless questions, give it a rest people,” watching them mumbling in disappointment was funny.
“ I was fine, you should go back to work,”
“ I was here about your sister, want to see her, she's awake,” suddenly I was scared to face her, I had been the worst brother to her and even I this world she got hurt by the same man.
“ Miss Jan, this is Tine, the guy I told you about,”
“ Ooh yeah, my brother from another universe,” hearing her say that with a smile, reminded me that it had been long since Val smiled. I couldn't control myself as I hugged her, I wanted to protect this version on her, I had to, with tears rolling down my eyes.
“ I'm sorry I couldn't help it,”
“ Hey it's fine, I've never had someone care about me before, this feels very good,” yes it was that smile that I wanted to see and before I had figured a way to go back home, I was going to do all I could to protect her.
“ Sky, I know you have done alot for me in this two days and I'm thankful, I just need one favor please,”
“ You don't have to ask, ofcause she can stay with us, I've been living alone like forever, it would be nice to have two very attractive people in my house, it's finally going to be a home,” I really didn't want to use his developing feelings for me like this but I clearly had no choice.
“ Before I forget, yesterday you mentioned you knew someone who can help me get an id card, it would be good for me so I could get a job,”
“ I'll work on that,”
Taking Jan home with us made me feel so relaxed, I was planning on being the best brother that I couldn't be with Val, maybe I felt a little guilty, I was hoping this would at least make me relieved.
“ Jan welcome to my humble home, you can stay here as long as you like, I'm an orphan to so I get what it feels like to be alone,”
I didn't know Sky was an orphan, then again I had only been with him for two days. Who would have thought good people like him excited, I guess it was part of the mystery to.
Days turned to weeks now and I was adjusting to my new environment and living with Jan and Sky was so good, we would wake up to Jan making breakfast in the morning, I would help around the house, we would go shopping once sky had left for the hospital, if it wasn't for the fact that I was worried about Val, I wouldn't mind leaving here.
“ Tine what should I prepare for dinner? Have any favorites,”
“ I'm pretty sure anything you cook would be my favorite,” I would always take the opportunity to make her smile in the hope that maybe Val is smiling to.
“ Thinking about your sister, you never told me how she is, I'd like to know more about my other self,”
“ Ofcause, where to begin, well for first her real name is Valentine, yeah I know what were our parents thinking going with Tine and Valentine, well we were both born on valentine's day,”
“ Ooh you're twins?”
“ Not really, it just kind of happened that we were both born on the same date, but I'm two years older, I remember when she spoke her first words it was stop it,”
“ Why is that, that's so funny,”
“ Because I kept trying to steal her food, we laughed alot that day, things were going so good until I was fifteen and both my parents took a trip and never came back,”
“ Wait what happened,”
“ No one knows, they just disappeared, no body found no trace, no nothing, she was only thirteen, luckily the house we were living in belonged to us but that was it,”
“ How did you survive?”
“ Luckily my sister and I were very smart in school so we got scholarships all through highschool and even college but…” how could I have finished that story.
“ But what? Don't just live it at that,”
“ Well that's a story for another day, I think our order is ready and didn't you say you were going to take lunch to Sky, let's go back home,”
PEAT'S POV
“ He's been through so much,” max said as they listen to Tine's conversation.
“ So this is your plan, following him around and listening to his conversations, where I come from that's illegal,”
“ Rose what are you doing here,”
“ Well I've got bad new I'm sure you would like to know, it's about your Father,”
“ What did he do now that he hasn't already done,”
“ He found an enigma, he's going to make him get you pregnant,”
“ That's impossible, he agreed to wait until I did this my way,”
“ Well I think that agreement was set one sided, you need to be careful you know your father would do anything to get what he wants,”
“ Who is the enigma,”
“ I can't use my powers to trace an enigma, he might summon me and I'd loose my alpha powers,”
“ Peat, you have to be careful, enigmas are hard to direct and can live like beta's not forgetting they are super manipulative especially around alphas,”
“ Max I know you are worried about me, but right now I need solutions,”
“ I have one, get someone pregnant, omega or beta just get someone pregnant, I don't want anything to happen to you,” I didn't have siblings growing up but rose always acted like a big sister to me, actually without her help, my life would have been worse.
But what was my father really planing, why would he even result to such measures. This wasn't adding up.
