Part 1: Broken Dreams in Capri
Aina stepped off Capri’s ferry, her blonde hair tousled by the Mediterranean breeze. Vacation with Marco – paradise before wedding. But as they dined at _La Veranda_, he’d seemed distant.
Now she knew why.
Catching him laughing with a tanned woman in a villa pool, Aina fled. Tears blurred Capri’s streets. She crashed into _Café del Arte_. Brooding Lorenzo raised an eyebrow.
“Un drink, signorina?”
“Limoncello. Strong.”
Hours passed. Paint. Wine. Aina laughed. Sparks flew with Lorenzo’s stories – art, Capri’s secrets.
Part 2: Shadows of Capri
Aina met Lorenzo at Blue Grotto, sea spray misting her skin.
“Hey,” he said low. “You okay?”
Aina shrugged. “Guess I’m not marrying him.”
Lorenzo smiled – crooked, charming. “Good. He didn’t deserve Capri’s sun.”
As they rowed into the turquoise cave, Aina’s grief faded. But night fell. Lorenzo’s eyes darkened.
“My ex,” he said, voice rough. “Died here. Accident… people say I drove her.”
Aina’s heart twisted. “You didn’t.”
Lorenzo’s jaw locked. “Don’t know what I did.”
Silence. Waves lapped. Aina touched his hand.
Part 3: Confrontation
Marco burst in, pleading forgiveness. Aina froze.
“Lorenzo’s trouble,” he whispered. “Come back.”
Aina turned to Lorenzo – eyes burning.
“You choose,” he said. “But I won’t share you.”
Fires ignited. Words cut deep. Marco snarled, “You’re just a rebound.”
Lorenzo’s fist hit stone. Aina grabbed him.
“Enough!”
The past collided. Lorenzo’s pain spilled – his ex, the guilt. Aina saw it all.
“I’m staying,” she whispered. “With you.”
Marco vanished. Lorenzo crushed her close.
“Stupid me,” he murmured. “I loved you first.”
# Epilogue
Weeks passed. Aina painted with Lorenzo at _Café del Arte_. Capri blooms pink, sunsets fiery.
Lorenzo framed her – “My muse.”
Aina smiled. No shadows remained.
He gifted her a flower-crowned sketch:
_Aina in paradise._
She knew – love bloomed, betrayal faded.
THE END.
