Derion “Let him go, Derion!” Davi demanded, even adding a little stomp for emphasis. I looked at the man who’d previously had his face buried between my sisters legs and tried to place his familiar face. As much as I wanted to be mad, my sister is a grown woman and she can do what she pleases. “Where do I know you from?” I asked and he looked back at Davi but still didn’t answer. “Actually, it doesn’t matter. Just… wait outside.” I turned around cautiously and she wrapped her robe tighter around her when she saw Bria in my arms. She sat down on her couch and stared at me with a furious scowl on her face. “I just wanted to check on you to make sure you were okay, but clearly you’re just fine,” I said with a smirk. She just rolled her eyes at me and huffed as she kicked at the floor.
