Unintended Consequences

Hello lovely readers! This is my first story that I am writing for the public! I have written creatively for years but I only recently discovered the wonderful Stary Writing community! Thank you to anyone who is willing to give my story a try! I would also like to say, as this story gets more reads I totally understand that it won't be for everyone. I am ALWAYS open to feedback from people who genuinely want to help me improve this story. BUT I am begging you... be kind! Not just to me, to everyone! If you find yourself not enjoying this story, it's totally okay to stop reading. But at this point, writing is a solace for me and something I do for fun. It is very disheartening to get comments from people that just don't like the mood or tone of the story. That's not as easy to fix as grammar mistakes! Nor do I really want to. UPDATE: For my own mental health, I have taken a break from reading all of the comments on this story. I used to try and scroll to keep up with everything but I just can't for now. Most readers are so lovely but a few really don't take into consideration that I am a real human who spent months putting my all into this story.
