An Alpha Twice Removed

Ellies POV

*3 hours later* 

Queen woke up to the slam of Ellie's bedroom window. listening silently as she heard the thump of her kicking off her shoes and climbing back into her soft feather bed opening up her book once more for the night. rubbing her eyes, she turned around to her alarm clock checking the time before getting up to start working on some missed assignments.

*Ellies pov *

lost in another good book Ellie was deep into chapter 25 in her new favorite vampire saga when her older brother Ezra appeared at her bedroom door. he just stood there waiting to get her attention, as she sat there clenching the book as tight as possible in her tiny hands . with her nose so deep in the story she didn`t so much as look up at Ezra to even notice him standing in her doorway ."ahem" Ezra cleared his throat causing Ellie to jump out of her skin. 

"Ahem!" "Umm Ellz can we talk for a bit?" he asked.

"Um sure, What`s Up Ezra?" she replied.

"Do you ever think about mom and dad, and what they would have wanted from us?" 

"well yeah sometimes ... I guess." she shrugged.

"It's just that sometimes I feel like he`s trying to tell me something. dad, I mean. and it just feels like I'm continuously letting him down now more than ever!"

"Hey, hey don't say that Ezra it's not true. you know how proud of you they were. mom and dad never had to worry about you not ever, you are just not the kind of wolf to need anyone's help. mom and dad were always speaking about how great you are doing and how strong you were getting I think you've been doing better than your giving yourself the credit for. especially now that you are training alongside the alpha and his warriors every morning. you would have made them so proud." she reassured.

"It's true Lil bro!" Queen said as she entered Ellie's room 

"It's been so unreal getting to train with the alpha, beta, and kyle my best bud and 3rd in command to alpha rowen. I honestly would never even imagine fighting alongside some of the bravest wolves of this pack. I just wish dad was here to see it."

"He`d be so proud of you EZ!" Queen cheered.

"Listen Ezra if you keep working hard as dad taught you I'm sure you'll be one of the strongest fastest wolves on the field just as dad was. but Ezra with power always comes fear as dad used to say. we have alpha blood and as you know no alpha wants to be out alpha`d in front of his pack. if he starts to feel your challenging his position in any way he will have to take you out or step down. be wise whatever decisions you make out on that field." Ellie warned.

"So what am I to do, sit back and watch while he fails. he's unmated and he's lost the respect of the pack members for a while now. once I turn 16 and shift to my wolf form me and Rebecca will be mated and ill just have to challenge that big bad alpha rowen for his pack! you'll see!" he said as he retreated towards his room. leaving Ellie and queen in hers. 

"Sometimes I wonder where I went wrong with that one. father taught him to be fearless and powerful but the one thing he forgot to teach that boy was to mind his place. one day that alpha instinct in him will get us all in trouble." Queen said with a sigh.

"You can say that again," *Ellie says as she chuckles* sticking her nose back into her book as her sister left the room.

Ellie now alone, shut her book and started a prayer. 

" Dear,  moon goddess ma'am

 Up above if you are even listening ...

It is me Ellie the she-wolf from green land wolf pack Ellie. well, you can call me EL my friends call me EL ... that`s not true. I don't have many friends besides Ezra and Queenie but even still they call me EL sometimes. Maybe you could too?.. Well anyway, I'm sorry to bother you I know you are busy creating mate bonds and watching over us but I was wondering maybe if you could tell my mom and dad how much they are missed. Ezra is losing his mind without dad's constant guidance and training, and queenie has assumed the role of both mom and dad, she works all morning and goes to school at night trying to keep this family together. She is trying so hard to keep us all together. Please, goddess of the moon hear my cries and please listen with your heart, my oldest sister queenie has not yet met her mate and I fear she'll never find him taking care of us her whole life. Please help her find her person so she isn't so alone. and if maybe you are not too busy still can you please not mate Ezra with that awful she-wolf Rebeckah. She is cruel and self-absorbed and for some reason, she hates my guts. She's had it out for me since the first day of Greenland prep. When I was just a small dainty pup still clinging onto my mother and father's arms. She told everyone I was a big baby, telling them I wet the bed. I never did by the way. that was always Ezra's thing. I like to consider myself more mature for my years. ironic isn't it. The real bed wetter was the guy she can't seem to get over. my older brother. but I never told. no matter how bad her torment got. I'd never betray my brother's trust that way. I'd just brush it off and continue about my day, even if she spreads her stories around the pack. I know the truth that's all that matters. that's not me at all. No matter what she says. ugh anyway, I do hope Queen gets to meet her mate soon, she deserves it, I know a goddess such as yourself probably already has a plan for her. won't question you but come on, please."
