The ring master had watched the two of them leave from a distance and had stayed at his post until he was sure they were both safe. He was more than a little emotional but didn’t dare let his emotions get the better of him. There was still far too much to do and if he let his feeling run wild now he wouldn’t be able to do what still needed to be done. Things he reminded himself off as the first blood red tear rolled down his cheek. He had thought he would be able to control it so he wasn’t surprised when a second followed. There was plenty to but he would take just a moment and stand there in the wide open expanses of nowhere and regain himself. As he did he looked up at the sky and smiled.
