Chapter 30 - Until Forever

1725 Words
In the past years, I only feel nothing but remorse, and later learned to be numb for everything that has been going around me. I never imagined that time would come where happiness and contentment filled my heart, and this is because of my love... Since he came, I found out that I’m still capable of loving someone, and that I’m worthy of one’s love... I realized that I deserved to be loved, too, which my parents never did. My heart deserved all the love she’s receiving now. All the care and attention... It deserved to be treated right. Everyone of us has the right to be loved, and to love one. One should never let anyone take their rights... As for me, I almost believed that perhaps, I’m nothing but a human toy my parents’ can use. And that I’d grow up and share the same fate as theirs. However, everything has changed when my heart beat for the first time for Simeon. I don’t know... There was something in love that changed my perception in everything. My negative perspective in life was replaced with full of positivities which made me eager to fight for my freedom. Love was something one shall freely acquire. “So, he’s helping you?” “Yes...” He nodded. “He’s been a big help for us, with Alec. But for sure my sister won’t like it once she finds out.” “Oh... Then, you must keep it a secret?” I said, unsure of my statement. Shrugging, he grabbed the glass of water and drank it at all once. We were sitting near the bonfire and was eating dinner together while constantly watching the stars above us. He explained the business Alec talked about earlier in the shop. I have learned that a man named Azarius Saint Laurent was helping him financially by giving him position in a men’s company. I heard good reviews about their products and said it was hundred percent recommended. Although at some point, I know Simeon was not that broke... Yet of course, we need to work for extra. “Yup, for now. I know this would blow up soon and my sister will probably be mad, well... I hope not. And since she has been going around as she mourned, I have to look after her, Lia.” His sister... “She seems too brave, though. She have lost a friend, and grieving is part of our lives, Simeon. But still, despite the lose, she chose to stand up in her feet and continue...” A small smile left his lips. “It was such a waste that you two didn’t meet that day.” “There’s a lot of time for that,” I replied. “Maybe soon...” However, I know deep inside me that the soon will not come that early. It might take years for that. I don’t know if his mother was angry at me for I was the reason why Simeon changed path to a medical field that she has bad experiences. It was not my intention. But I hope she would understand that Simeon chooses it partly because he wanted to. I believed him when he told me that he was slowly falling in love with his chosen career. I trust his words... “Yes,” he retorted. “You’ll meet her someday, Lia. My sister will love you.” Smiling, I nodded like a happy kid. “I hope so, too, love...” We continued to eat in silence. It was refreshing to hear the wild waves below this high mountain. Even the sounds only in the nights can hear was like a music in my ears. Added the twinkling stars peeping through the chorus of greens above us, and the moonlight. I rubbed my arms when I felt something landed on my skin. The burning fire was enough to kill the cold, and served as out light in the wildness. “Still not sleepy?” He sat beside me. I deliberately leaned my head on his shoulder. “This felt so good, Simeon...” I whispered, smiling. “I wish we could stay like this forever without worry. I don’t mind living in cold and through the wildness of this beauty. As long as we’re together, I wouldn’t ask for more.” I felt his hand on my arms, rubbing it then, squeezing me tight. “I hope that, too...” he retracted. “I wish nothing but our relationship to last, Lia. You and me conquering the vast ocean of uncertainties, and later become one is my great wish. I wouldn’t mind fighting for our love, baby. It’s you that I want since I met you, and forever... It will always be you that I want to be with until our hairs turned white.” My eyes warmed up. “I felt like you’re proposing to me.” It was so good to hear all of that from the person I love most. It was all new to me, but the feeling was too gold. “I never knew that someone like you will love me that much,” I confessed. “I really thought that I’d end up like my parents, unhappy and unsatisfied. But thanks God... You’re here and I wouldn’t be that scared to think that I might grow up feeling lonely, and totally unloved by anyone.” “I love you, Lia...” he whispered with full of passion I almost melt. “I want only you since then, and until forever.” I watched him intertwined our fingers together. The moment our skin touch, the warmth creeps through inside of me. I am in love with the feeling of his skin on mine, the way he hold my hands felt like a tight protection. Like he would protect me at all cost, and that he will not let go of my hand even if I tell him that he has to. Raising my head, I stared at his eyes. “I love you so much, Simeon... No one and nothing can change the love I have for you, love. Inside my heart is your name that will be forever engraved and will remain even after our death. And that I promised you, here below the moonlight... I pledge to love you until forever.” I’m not certain if I’d love someone in the future more that I’m in love with him. But I know that I will not ever find someone like Simeon even in my dreams. He’s the only one on Earth. And I dreamt to be his only one ‘till death. “You’re making me cry...” I chuckled when his eyes moistened. “I didn’t know what love is until you...” I added. “If I were asked what love is, I’ll probably answer your name.” Pouting, he closed his eyes as if trying to hold himself back. “I felt like I was back to being a teenager, baby...” he said. “You were my long-time crush, I’ve been in love with you for too long, and this... This was the exact scenario I always dreamt of. Now that it turned to reality, I don’t know how to react.” “You don’t have to say anything,” I assured. He opened his eyes and leered at me. I was so lost in his lamps that was smiling in glee. It was so satisfying to see how his eyes sparkle in happiness and knowing that it was me behind his joy, I could not ask for more. “I know, love...” he uttered. “But the fact that I finally reached you, my heart is happy. More than happy, baby. I can’t put in words how much I’m thankful for your presence... Your presence alone brought me in glee, but you saying I love you... I felt like I’m behind the clouds, Lia.” Wetting my lips, I looked away. His words were like a sharp knife that stabbed me through my heart. But it didn’t cause me pain. His love for me... Damn it. I love him so much that it hurts because of too much love I have for him I thought my heart would explode. “Please, enough with your sweet words. I’m getting swayed already, baby.” I complained. I heard him chuckled. I didn’t bother to protest when he held my chin and direct me to face him, which I did without leaving his eyes that was filled with love for me. I don’t know... I’m kind of confuse in which added to the warmth. Was it his eyes that ignite us or the bonfire that was dancing as the wind blows? “I wanna kiss you, Lia...” he craved. His eyes were fixed on my eyes, then later pour his attention to my lips that was anticipating for his kisses. Unconsciously, the tip of my tongue showed up to lick my lower lip making his eyes burn in passion. “You asked for this,” I whispered then, sneaked my arms around his nape as I pressed my lips against his. Closing my eyes, I cherished the kiss I shared with him. He held the sides of my waist, I could feel the pressure in every squeeze of his hands to my skin that sent tingling sensations into me. It was just minute when I found myself sitting on his lap as we continued to lap each other’s lips, only pulled away if we run out of air then back to kissing again. I tasted every corners of his mouth, leaving my traces. I suck and bit his lip that earned me a small groan from him which urged me to do more. My lips went down to his jaw, licking his skin while my hands slid inside his shirt, caressing his tone body. “Hmm... Lia, baby...” he moaned when I pinch his n*****s. I smiled as I kissed his neck, lapping his skin and sucking it to leave my mark. I traced the marks on the side of his neck by licking the part with the tip of my tongue. “My love bites are here...” I said. “You are mine, Simeon. Every piece of you belongs to me and vice versa...” I drop a small kisses on the marks, then went back on sucking some parts of his skin to leave my traces. “Lia...” He breathed heavily. “You are killing me, love...” “Was that good or bad?” I pulled away and stared at him curiously. My hands were still inside his shirt and was not moving as I waited for his reply. “No, baby... You’re killing me in a good way and now, I wanted to experience the real good with you.”
