5. The Mate Bond (short)

616 Words
5. Felicity POV: I asked Poppy to bring me any information about the grounds surrounding Marble from the Elder archives . I wasn’t ready to move my sisters into an unknown territory. Alpha Kilian stayed to talk about the training. He approached me and I could feel the headache getting stronger and I had to sit down. What was wrong with me, suddenly I felt hot. I grabbed the jug of water to pour myself some, but my vision got blurry and I dropped it. Kilian darted over to catch the glass. “Whoa Felicity are you okay? You seem a little pale”. “How do you know my name?” I questioned quickly. “Your uncle told me about you and your sisters. Sorry about last night, I thought…” he stopped, hesitated. “I thought you were someone else”. He seemed hurt, I just punched him it’s not like I slit his throat. “At least you won’t be getting close to me now, knowing what I’m capable of with one move”. He grinned as he listened and poured the water into my glass. “Only in training” he winked at me with a massive grin. I have never looked at a man before in my life, his eyes spoke to me as though there was another person behind them. The enormous pools of brown were true and honest. I looked at his neck and for some reason it seemed very masculine, the veins were visible, and the plain white T-shirt rested on his collar bones poking out of his body. It was tight and I could tell he had good abs. What was I thinking? This was a man the most annoying and disgusting creature in the world. “I will kick your ass in training Alpha”, as he passed me the water I reached and he grazed my finger, electricity passed through my body and my headache only got worse.  I heard whispers in my head and I knew I had to get away from him. “Will you excuse me Kilian, I really need to lie down” I exited the room just as I was about to faint, Poppy caught me dropping all the paperwork she was holding. “Fury, Fury, what’s wrong, is it the headaches again? Let’s get you outside” I don’t remember anything after that. Kilian POV: She is cheeky. I know Bane, but I like it. Did you see the way she looked at us, there was no disgust or anger? I wanted you to bend her over this table and make her scream your name. I know I had to keep myself in control, you nearly popped out and, yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I know, we share one mind – I could see Bane grinning in my head. I was glad she agreed to stay at Marble. I would have my mate close to me. I have already called my father and told him the situation I wanted him to inform all my staff and the soldiers. He was a great Alpha and he agreed with my decision to bring the Daughters to Marble.  I told him to clean out the fourth floor of the Estate, it would be solely dedicated to them, that way when I got to my floor, I can walk past her as well. To my surprise, my father knew who the Daughters were, I knew he was Marcel’s best friend so he must have known about who Ophelia really was.
