8. Follow Her

8 .Kilian POV:

I rushed to my room, before I slammed the door shut Seth managed to slither into my room. I smashed the books and candles from my desk, nearly wrecking the room before Seth calmed me down.

“Alpha, please calm down, you will bring the whole pack in here in a minute, what happened?”

Bane started to come out. I didn’t remember the last time he went for a run, before finding our mate and this was too much for him just like it was for me.

“I felt her wolf Seth! she has a wolf, her eyes went black before she head-butted me” I knew what I was saying was right, Bane saw it as well.

“That’s impossible, she is a human, who has runes tattooed onto her. She hangs out with dogs! She does not have a wolf, stop imagining things that are not there. Maybe it’s time you reject her”. That was it, that was the breaking point! I darted over to Seth grabbing him by his throat and pushing him against the wall.

“She has a wolf!” I barked. “I don’t know how but she does”. I felt Seth wriggling underneath me, I let him go and he dropped to the floor.

“Okay, I trust you, it’s just unbelievable that’s all, just get dressed and meet everyone for dinner”. As Seth shut the doors behind him, I couldn’t help but grunt in frustration.

“Why Moon Goddess? Why give me a mate who hates me?”

I saw her Kilian, she’s beautiful but she’s hidden. She doesn’t even know about her own existence. How can a human have a wolf?

I don’t know Bane; I will get her out I promise.

Bane woke up in my head three years ago and we have never got along. He wouldn’t speak to me for a whole month after I slept with an Omega on a night out, and when I let him out for a run, he took control over my body for a week. Could a girl like Felicity have this effect on both of us?

Kilian POV:

I walked down to the dining hall after my shower and I smelled her sent all over the room. I walked in and all the females were there, my pack was slowly filling the room. The dogs must be outside because I could not smell them or hear them. I sat at the head of the table and a plate full of food was placed before me. I could not eat it, all I could smell was chocolate, she came down with wet hair and that was the answer. She just washed so the whole room smelled like her. I was hard straight away. I should not have worn jeans tonight. f**k this was so hard to ignore. She wore a nice dress and I saw her skinny shiny legs. I just wanted to wrap those legs around my waist and f**k her until the morning.

I struggled through dinner and when Mrs Powell brought dessert over something grabbed my attention. Felicity wasn’t eating anything.

“Felicity what is wrong, I thought you would be hungry after your training session today?” I wanted to hear her voice, anything even a snarky comment would suffice.

“Actually Kilian” she was doing this on purpose, even my mother looked up. “I’m craving some cherries, I can smell cherries, Mrs Powell” she grabbed Mrs Powell’s attention “have you got anything cherry flavoured or cherries I think I can smell them?”.

At that moment, my mother shrieked and dropped her dessert fork.

“What’s wrong love?” my father asked. They mind linked and he looked straight at me. They were the ideal couple in the whole pack, and it was always obvious when they were up to no good, this time was no different. She looked at me and smirked.  

Mrs Powell brought some cherries over to Felicity and I looked over pretending to listen to whatever Seth was saying. As she picked one up, she placed it in that sweet mouth of hers and bit down. Everything around me slowed down and I focused on her, I swear my hearing got better and I heard her moan.

“I need to go for a run” I stood up and walked away.

Felicity POV:

I ate way too much; Mrs Powell is amazing in the kitchen. When I was heading upstairs to the Daughters floor, Zara would not budge.

“Zara come on girl, you’re already a bit skittish, come on” she completely ignored me a walked out the door, something was telling me to follow her. After about an hour my feet started to hurt, I was ready for bed, but Zara would not stop. She came to a small stream and started sniffing it.

“I am not moving until you head the opposite direction, Zara this is getting ridiculous, we are lost we are on a wolf’s territory and I want to sleep” she turned around and just looked at me. Yes, she heard me! She carried on walking up the stream…Throwing my arms up in the air I could not believe what was happening “Zara I’m not moving!” I shouted after her.

Go!  I heard the voice again; my head was starting to hurt.

“No” I shouted into the air.

Follow her and you will find out the truth.

The voice faded at the end.

I immediately caught up with Zara who carried on. We got to a nearby waterfall and Zara collapsed, she moved around in a circle and went to sleep. The voice in my head said ‘her’ this meant that it wasn’t Zara talking to me in the challenge.

“Seriously, you dragged me away from the Estate and now you go to sleep?”. I sat there quietly looking up at the night sky and I decided for a dip in the water. I took my dress off and I dived into the water, it felt right, right where I was supposed to be. The water wasn’t hot or cold just the perfect temperature. I swam up to the waterfall and I saw a small cave behind it. Curiosity took over. It was warm and wet but comfortable.

I heard a snarl and a howl followed by an inhumane scream. Then it appeared, a white wolf with black eyes on the other side of the waterfall. He was beautiful, the fur was thick and perfectly placed on his body. What was going on? These were not my thoughts? The wolf ran into the water and dived. I couldn’t believe what I saw, it was Kilian. Kilian emerged from underneath the water, it was reaching his hips and I could tell how toned he was. I knew he was a good fighter but I never really took it all in. His dark brown eyes were shining in the moonlight and his brunette hair was darker with the water dripping down.

He was starting to walk to the shoreline when my headache got worse and I had to hold my head in my hands. My heart was thumping and my lungs started to move a lot faster, I saw specks of black in front of me, and then nothing else.
