9. Cherries

9 Kilian POV:

She was driving me insane! Everything about her was s****l, I needed to release some testosterone. After about two hours Bane was happy, he caught a few rabbits and walked over to his favourite part of the forest. It was hidden away and next to a waterfall.

Bane I can’t do it anymore, it hurts too much all I can think about is her.

Don’t do anything stupid, you felt the spark between you two. There is dark magic involved I can feel it. Just fight for her.

I will, for now.

Bane dived in the water to cool off it was a little trick Bane would pull on me. He would dive in the water and shift back to me. I knew it was coming, but I never knew how deep it was. I surfaced and it hit me the faintest smell of chocolate. It must have been lingering on me. I heard a splash of water around me and Bane started to growl again. Then I saw her, the perfect body emerge from underneath the waterfall. Her black hair covering her bra. She must have taken her dress of and jumped in. She walked deeper into the water and swam towards me.

“Mine” I said softly. Her body was intoxicating. Every curve was sculpted by the Moon Goddess herself. She was at an arm’s length away and she stopped. She was at a war with herself and I could tell, her eyes kept on turning from blue to black.

“Please come out, please come and speak to me. I want to meet you” I pleaded.

“Hello Kilian” Felicity looked at me with black eyes, only this wasn’t Felicity.

“Hello darling” I have never been so happy and Bane was going insane howling and panting in my head. “What should I call you? Or will darling suffice?” I asked. I assumed I could move closer and I placed my palms on her hips underwater, her skin felt so soft. 

“My name is Estrid and I am the other half of Felicity” she said quietly but proud.

“I have been waiting my whole life for you, but can you please do me favour, can you bring Felicity back I need to speak to her, I promise I will take care of her” I knew I was talking to Felicity’s wolf, but she had to be conscious somewhere there.

“I’m scared to go back in, this is the first time I have had control in years, please tell her about me” she looked down and saw my palms on her hips. “She will not be happy, are you ready for it?” she is just like Felicity, cheeky!

“I swear on my life I will tell her about you”. As soon as Estrid closed her eyes. I pulled Felicity in closer to me, feeling the heat that she was radiating and rubbed my thumb across her wet bottom lip. I moved in and pressed my lips against hers. I have been waiting to kiss my mate for twenty-one years. It could not be more perfect. She opened her mouth letting my tongue in. I felt her body melt in mine, and I opened my eyes, hers were still closed. When I moved my hand to the back her head, she came to it and moved back.

I could feel the kiss changing, I was dreading this moment.

“Get the f**k away from me!” she roared at me before she kneed me in the groin.

“AARRGHHH, Felicity please wait” I followed her out of the water. “Let me explain please, just STOP” I used my Alpha voice on her. I knew it wouldn’t work since she was a human, but I was hoping it would work on Estrid. She stopped just as the water reached to her thighs. I approached her and saw her pull her guard up.

“If you listen you will find out the truth” I said.

“What did you just say?” she gasped.

“I will tell you everything, but you have to promise you will keep an open mind” she squinted her eyes and held her second finger up, she was looking for an answer.

“Hold up…. Hold on. Don’t move anywhere” she walked off and disappeared into the forest.

Bane what am I supposed to do?

She told us to wait so we are waiting.

What happened to you? How come you’re so obedient.

Kilian, I have just spoken to my soul mate I am in seventh heaven.

I smelled the chocolate again and she appeared, she went back to put her dress on. Felicity approached me with anger in her eyes and did not stop, she kneed me in the shin and jumped over me, twisting my arm behind me.

“Are you using Dark Magic on me?” she roared.

“No! What?” I was caught by surprise.

“Did you try to r**e me?”

“NO, I would never!”

“Why am I next to you? Why am I half naked? Why are you totally naked?” she was twisting my arm more and more I’ve had enough.

I yanked by arm back and I turned back round but she didn’t even flinch, she wasn’t scared, she was fuming instead.

“Felicity stand wherever you want to stand, you can stand close or far, I will not approach you no matter how much I want to” she scrunched her fists again.

“I will tell you everything I know, and I promise you I will not lie”.

“You have two minutes and then I swear to the First Mother I am going to drown you”.

“Right two minutes okay, quick and snappy…. What do you know about mates?” I spoke quickly.

“Wolves will imprint on other wolves and live happily ever after and all that bullshit”.

“Wrong” I was relieved she knew at least something. “Alpha wolves will not imprint, we will find the person who is perfect for us and they will be presented to us after our 18th birthday, after our wolf comes out”. I stepped closer “That woman will become the Luna, but she has to be a wolf and a pure blood. I knew as soon as I saw you that you’re my mate and Bane agreed”.

“Bane?” she questioned my whole story.

“He is my wolf and he agreed when he saw you. I was confused when your uncle told me that you’re a human so you couldn’t be my mate, but I cannot shake this feeling. Every time I’m around you I feel electricity running through my body and I can constantly smell chocolate. I cannot smell anything else when I’m around you. Every time I’m around you I’m focused on you. I couldn’t even eat today because you were there and yet you are not mine. Felicity we are meant to be together but you’re not allowing it”.  She stepped back thoughts running through her head I could see the clogs turning.

“Cherries” she said softly.

“What?” I was a bit confused.

“When I’m around you I can smell cherries”.

I could hear Bane howling with happiness.
