The Outbreak

Chapter 1 (After The Fallout)

The bomb explodes sending a shockwave across the entire world. The blast destroys the entire city of Los Angeles. 3 weeks later, mutant zombies have overrun the entire city, and the entire world.

The couple is in a house that has been converted into a fortress. They have reinforced the windows and doors with metal bars, and they have a stockpile of food and water. They are both armed with guns and knives, and they have a small garden in the backyard that provides them with fresh vegetables. They also have a radio that they use to communicate with other survivors.

Jacob: babe I can't believe this is happening! Please tell me this is a nightmare!" *He slaps himself to make him self wake up from a bad dream* saying, "this is a dream, it's only a dream!" *He starts to cry his eyes out.*

Austin stops him, "babe stop hurting yourself, you need to stay calm!" This isn't a dream babe, I wish it was. *He hugs his boyfriend tightly, kissing his forehead* it's all gonna be okay.

He continues to hold him as he cries. "I got you baby, I got you."

They make dinner and decide to eat.

As they are eating dinner, they hear a loud banging on the front door. They look out the window and see a group of armed men standing outside. The leader of the group is shouting and demanding that they open the door. The couple is terrified and doesn't know what to do. They grab their guns and prepare for a fight.

Austin says to his partner who is nervous and scared: "are you ready babe?"

Jacob replies, "I hope so.. I'm really scared baby."

Austin replies, it's gonna be okay, we got this babe." Stick close to me and everything will be fine."

Jacob says "okay babe. *He breathed heavily but calms down*

The couple fires their guns at the intruders, but they are quickly overwhelmed by the sheer number of attackers. They are both wounded and they know that they are in danger of being killed. The leader of the group approaches them with a knife and says that they are going to have some "fun" with them. The couple struggles to defend themselves, but they are no match for the brute force of the attackers.

Austin fired his gun aiming at their heads and successfully shoots them. Killing all of them.

Austin says, "We're safe now"

Jacob says "that was intense babe!

Austin let's out a big sigh. "i can't believe I just killed them"

Jacob replies. "You had to babe, you did what you had to do to keep us safe. I'm so glad I am with you.

Austin kisses him passionately* "I love you Honey."

He looks at Austin deep in his eyes and says, "I love you too."

They both go to bed, falling asleep cuddling after a long day.

As the night falls, someone is appearing out their window, staring into their bedroom.

Austin wakes up sensing someone is watching him. He doesn't know where they are. He lays there not able to fall back asleep, knowing someone is out there, watching him, staring into his soul.
