Fatal

"Run , run , run for your lives ", these words could be heard clearly from a mile away, or maybe even more. The powerful and prosperous city of magicians , Magica was under attack and various creatures such as dragons , monsters ,etc. were attacking the city . The dragons covered the whole of the sky which caused complete darkness and with their fire breathe were destroying anything that comes in their way . On seeing this scene one wizard said to another , " It's the end". The other wizard replied by saying,"Wait , calm down, Vasilus will protect us ." Who is Vasilus ? How can he save the people of Magica ? This question aroused in my subconscious mind . And soon everyone present there started chanting the name "Vasilus" and I woke up carrying a strange confusion in my mind. It was not the first time I have seen this dream for a number of times but never got to know or see Vasilus and why the city men are chanting his name ? Amidst the confusion I looked at the wall clock of my room it was half past eight in the morning . I rushed to the bathroom and finally managed to reach the school on time . On reaching the school campus I saw my friends were standing in the corridor which led to my classroom , they surrounded me and started to stare at me . "Here he is ", shouted Jacob, a decent and kind boy with various attributes. "You are coming now ", said Silas, my oldest friend in this school since I took transfer to this campus . Silas was simply a genius and could do anything he wants but he is a lazybutt . This trait of Silas made him gain a lots of weight. Then a sharp voice reached my ears and collided against my eardrums like a hammer on a bell "Don't just stare , answer them ". It was Leo , he is a bit rude sometimes but don't judge him with his rudeness . He is no less than Silas both in brain and weight . "Victor, go to your respective seat now ", shouted the teacher . Victor is what my name is . A boy who is hanging between the real and the imaginary world . A charming face behind the cover of dullness just because of some unknown fear. In simple words , I am a book with some pages missing. Leo , Silas , Jacob and I used to sit together but this time our new class teacher made a new seating arrangement . Leo and Jacob were seperated and were made to sit at a seperate corner of the classroom. The first period bell rang and our class begins, the first lesson was of mathematics and I tried to concentrate my mind in the subject but was failed in doing so. I was peeping out of the window where I should concentrate at my book. While looking out at the sky I was trying to visualise my dream and was able to see dragons in the sky. Suddenly, Silas jog my shoulder and said, "What's wrong , the teacher is calling out your name and you are in your own world ." I was again back to the reality and walked towards my teacher and he asked me to solve a mathematical problem , it was not at all difficult for me as I was getting good grades almost in every subject taught to me in school and I solved the problem in less than a minute . The class and the teacher applauded but it meant nothing to me. During the recess time I told Silas about my dream because he was my dearest friend and on him I trusted the most in the class and I was sure he will understand me . I narrated him my dream that I saw today and is seeing constantly from past few weeks. He first laughed at me then make fun of me but when he observed my changed behaviour his laughing sound disappeared in the noise of the class and the bell rang which indicates that the recess is now over. Our next lesson began and my story remains the same I was looking outside the window just like the caged bird who wants to fly in the sky freely but in my case it's my dream who is acting as a cage. Silas was staring at me or should I say he was having a deep observation of my acts. I know Silas being my friend was concerned about me but I could not stop my mind for a minute from thinking about my weirdest dream. Finally , Silas broke his silence and asked me to " Stop reading fantasies and any other fictional book , it's all just the product of some rubbish imagination don't take them seriously". But I did not pay any heed to this talk and his suggestions and simply remained quit . After few hours , the final bell rang and it's our home time . Silas came to me and said in a deep tone , " You will be fine , I am always with you ". Later , Leo and Jacob approached me and said " is everything good with you , Victor? We both feel that you should share your grieves and sorrows with us maybe we can help you and if we can't help you then surely you will feel good as sorrow gets decreasing when we share it with our loved ones. Think about it once , Victor. " But all I needed was peace of mind which nobody has offered and I headed towards my residence with a heavy heart .
