Kept alive only for baby

Alison's pov My body went rigid instantly. The world around me tilting to the side. "Uhm...I...I think you've got the wrong person, sir." I struggled to speak as words failed me. "You are Alison Thorne, aren't you?" "Ye....yes I am." I answered nervously, my legs slowly giving out. He bridged the gap between us until I could almost perceive the power rolling off him in waves, "And you are pregnant, aren't you?" My breath ceased. How did he know this?! His gaze dropped to my stomach again. "That seed growing there belongs to the Alpha of Star Wars pack." He pointed at my belly before turning his index finger to his chest. "I'm sorry, but you've got the wrong person. Yes, I'm pregnant but you're not the father. Ryan Evans is the father of my chi..." "Silence." He said in a hushed tone. I went quiet immediately. My blood had gotten ice-cold at this point. I had always known I was small in this world. Being an omega does that to you. Being an orphan seals it. You grow up learning how to lower your eyes, how to soften your voice, how to apologize even when you haven't done anything wrong. You learn that survival is not about strength, but about endurance. Still, nothing prepared me for standing in front of Jordan Storme, alpha of Star Wars pack. "Guards!" He called out. Next thing, two able bodied men appeared out of nowhere. It was only then did I realise the black SUV parked behind the Alpha. The moment they both stepped forward, I knew resistance was pointless, but I was determined to fight till the last drop of my blood. "Don't...stay away from me." I put my hands up in front of me, ready to fight. It took them nothing to bundle me and throw me into the trunk of the car. "Easy with her. She's pregnant with my child." I heard Jordan say before the doors of the car started to open and close, the next thing, the car had started and was being driven. "No, let me out of here." I yelled as I kicked and thrashed in the back of the car. "One more word from you, and I promise, I'm going to find a way to yank that fetus in your womb and end you." Jordan said as though it were nothing. My body froze and my blood went cold instantly. A tear slid down my cheek. I figured it was better I stayed quiet. I had heard stories about Alpha Jordan, he was ruthless and had a record of keeping to his word. By the time we reached his pack, my body had given up before my mind did. The Star Wars Pack estate rose from the mountains like something ancient and untouchable. Everything about it screamed power. The land itself seemed to bow to its Alpha. Wolves moved with discipline and purpose with their respectful and dangerous gazes. I had never belonged anywhere like this. They brought me to a large room, far too luxurious for someone like me. The bed was wide and soft, the floors were polished and the air scented faintly with pine and something that smelt of dominance. I stood awkwardly near the door, wrapping my hands around myself, feeling like a stain on silk. Jordan dismissed the guards with a gesture. When we were alone, the silence between us grew heavier. He turned to face me with an expression carved from stone. "This arrangement is temporary," he said calmly. "You will remain here until the child is born. After that, you will leave." The words settled into me slowly, like poison. I swallowed hard. "Please," I said, before I could stop myself. His brow lifted slightly in mild irritation. "I didn't plan this," I rushed on, my voice trembling. "I didn't cheat. I didn't even know your sperm was used. I was trying to..." I stopped, shame burning my throat. "I was just trying to be loved." Something flickered in his eyes, then vanished. "You are an omega," he said. "Your feelings are irrelevant." The bluntness in his voice stole my breath. "I know," I whispered quickly. "I know my place. I'm not asking for anything beyond my freedom. Please...please let me go…" "Not until this child is born!” “Please…please Alpha. I promise to…” “Shiii!” He groaned and shut me up immediately. He stepped closer, "Do not mistake this for what it's not," he continued coldly. "You are here because you are carrying my heir. That is your only value in this situation." My hands curled into my sleeves. "I never wanted an omega to bear my child," he said, his voice tightening for the first time. "I wanted a mercer. Or at the very least, a tyron. Someone worthy. Someone strong enough to enhance my bloodline." I flinched. "Instead," he went on, "a fertility clinic's incompetence tied my future to an ordinary omega who can barely hold her wolf together." Tears burned my eyes, but I didn't let them fall. "I didn't choose this either," I said softly. "And yet here we are," he replied. I gathered what little courage I had left and sank to my knees before him. The movement surprised even me. "Please," I begged, my voice breaking completely now. All I wanted was for my boyfriend to love me…I…I never planned for this, I was only trying to be loved by my boyfriend." He looked down at me with an unreadable expression on his face. "I will never love you," he said. "You should carve that into your bones now so it hurts less later." The words felt deliberate, sharpened to stab at my heart. "I don't expect love," I sobbed. "I've never had it. I just...please don't make me disappear." His jaw clenched before he said, "I am suing the fertility clinic," he said flatly. "They will pay for placing my seed in an omega. Their mistake has compromised my standing and exposed my bloodline." Each word crushed me further. "I'm sorry," I whispered. "I really am." "You will carry my child," he said. "You will be fed, protected, monitored. When the heir is born, you will leave this pack. You will not lay claim to my name, my territory, or my future." Something inside me cracked completely. "What about the baby?" I asked desperately. "Please... let me stay near them. I won't interfere. I just... I love children. I always have. I can't imagine carrying a child and never seeing them again." His gaze hardened. "You are thinking emotionally," he said. "That is your weakness." I bowed my head to the floor. "I know I'm weak," I said. "I know I'm not what you wanted. But this child will know me as their mother. Please... don't take that from me too." Silence stretched unbearably before he finally spoke. "We will discuss your involvement after the birth," he said. "Do not mistake that for a promise." I nodded frantically. "Thank you. Thank you, Alpha." "Stand up," he ordered. I obeyed instantly. He then turned toward the door. "Rest now," he said without looking back. "Your body belongs to my heir, and do not forget why you are here." When he left, the door closing softly behind him, I slid back onto the bed, curling inward as if I could make myself smaller. I pressed my trembling hand to my stomach. "I don't know how to survive this," I whispered to the life inside me. "But I'll try." I cried, knowing I had been chosen by mistake and that in Jordan Storme's world, mistakes were tolerated only until they served their purpose.
