Abused rejected and loved

Lenaryas p.o.v What!!! I ask Zeus even though I heard what he said. I cant believe he said that to me his mate maybe I misheard him."U heard me ...rouge" he answered.spiting out the word rouge as if it burnt him. his voice was void of any human emotion and his face expressionless.Thats when I lost it, who the hell does he think he is? I could feel my heartbeat increase and tears in my eyes but i didn't let them out.i wont give him the satisfaction of seeing me cry. I couldn't let him see just how much he has broken me. All the years I spent wishing for my mate only to get this. I guess its true that you should be careful what you wish for. Mate or not I will not allow him to turn me into his puppet nor will I bow down to him or anyone else for that matter. My heart broke as I thought of ways to escape my supposed mate I cant beleive the moon goddess would punish me this way It pains me to do this but I have no choice as much as I want a mate, someone to give me some tender love and care, someone to be my everything, my other half, my mate It wasn't meant to be, so without thinking I looked at his cold expressionless handsome face and said I lenarya jenkins reject u alpha zeus helmsmith as my mate. The moment the words left my mouth I felt like someone was painfully clawing at my heart .I didn't dare look at Zeus afraid of what I would see in his eyes. Le-lenarya... I heard Zeus say with a shaky voice .my wolf Nemesis wined and clawed inside me wanting to console her mate.I couldn't help but look up at Zeus and what I saw in his eyes made me want to take back my words, I saw pain, heartbreak, anger and regret, the mere look into his eyes made me question my decision ...
