The mimic

Cut it's f*****g head off!

"The one back here is shifting too! What's the plan Hannah?" Janasia asked as she pressed the bottom of her spear. "Do you think you can hold that one off long enough for us to care of these two?" Hannah asked, she didn't want Janasia to be by herself but if she stay and fights with them, the third one could attack from behind. "I've noticed how much she's gotten better at using that thing, If she can manage to keep it pinned then she should be fine." Hannah thought to herself. "I'll try, wish me luck!" Janasia yelled as she charged towards the mimic. "Roxy, see if you can get behind them so you can attack while me and Clover keep them busy". Hannah told her. Roxanne nodded and ran off to the side to wait for a chance to sneak by.

Clover ran towards the mimic on the right while Hannah attacked the one on the left. Clover slashed at the mimic multiple times but it used it's claws to counter so she decided to try it's legs, it wasn't expecting it so she was able to cut a deep gash into its leg, she then kicked it over and started to s***h at it while it was on the ground, as a result it yelled out in pain causing the other mimic to get distracted. Hannah used the opportunity to attack it. She stabbed it in the knee and sliced off it's arm. The mimic snapped back by slashing at her side leaving deep cuts. Hannah winced at the pain but gained her composure and kicked the mimic in it's wounded knee. Roxanne managed to get behind them and stabbed the mimic through the stomach repeatedly. The mimic clover was fighting managed to knock her off of it and jump on Hannah.

It tried to bite her neck but Hannah blocked it by putting her arm in the way instead. She cried out as she could feel it's teeth rip through her flesh like it was nothing, She could feel as it started to bite down harder and harder on her arm and it felt like her arm would snap at any moment. She grabbed her sword with her freed arm and stabbed it through the mimics chest causing it to let go of her arm. Clover stood over the two of them and slashed her sword as hard as she could through the mimics neck. Its head rolled over and in front of the second mimic that Roxanne was still fighting. The mimic stared in shook for a while before attacking the three girls again.

While that was going on Janasia charges towards the mimic she was sent to fight. The mimic tried slashing at her but she dodged it. She took her spear and stabbed it at the mimic, piercing it's eye. It fell back and let out a shriek. Janasia stumbled as she covered her ears. She winced in pain as she started to feel something on her hands, she looked down to see her hands covered in blood. She could feel the blood running from her ears. "You nasty b***h, you are going to get it" She yelled before charging at the mimic.

It took a few swings at her but she dodged most of them. It did manage to scratch her leg but she shook it off and decided that it was her turn to go on the offensive. She jabbed her spear at it causing it to back up against the wall. " Did you see that arm that your messenger brought back. You'd think that after seeing that you guys would leave us the hell alone. I can't tell whether you guys are stupid or prideful. But don't worry we're gonna hunt all you monsters down". Janasia said, her eyes filled with hate. "Monsters? you just said you were going to hunt us down. Not to mention that you guys attacked us". The creature said to her with malice. Janasia burst out laughing, "What kind of Disney movie do you think this is? You think you can go onto that 'we're only trying to live' bullshit! This all started because you guys attacked my friend because you didn't have enough food, you even pretended to be her dead mom, that's f****d up". She yelled. " But please tell me how did we start this". She said rolling her eyes. The mimic thought she was distracted so it tried to attack her but Janasia saw it coming it pushed her spear harder into it and drove it up the wall, she then clicked the top of her spear twice so that it would extend and propped it against the opposite wall so the the mimic was pinned against the wall without her holding it. " Wow, I try to humor you and this is what I get in return! " She laughed out loud.

"Listen we already know that you guys can mimic the dead and all that good stuff, we also know how to identify you, I don't know if it's goes against your nature or what but you guys seem like your smart enough to know what a shower is" Janasia said mockingly while swatting her nose. "Who told you we can mimic the dead?" the creature asked. "The messenger you sent was real helpful?" She said cheerfully "but enough of the chit chat, how do you guys keep finding out where we are? I get your informer telling you our school but we just randomly decided to go skating, how did you know we would be here?" she asked in a more serious tone. The creature sneered at the girl before it's limbs started to grow smaller and it's complexion changed to a caramel color. Janasia looked on in shock as it took on her own face.

I thought that it could only take on the appearance of people that are already dead. Janasia thought to herself. She felt a her heart drop as the creature grinned at her evilly. Am I dead? she thought to herself. She felt her body to make sure she was still warm and bite herself on the warm, hard enough for blood to draw, she winced in pain but quickly shook it off. yeah, there's no way I could be dead. She tried convincing herself. She glanced up at the mimic who looked at her with a confused expression. We should've known that their messenger wasn't going to tell us the truth. We were stupid to believe it would, but why would this one reveal this secret when they were at an advantage? She thought while biting the nail of her thumb.

" You still didn't answer my question. How do you guys always know where we are?" She asked, dreading the answer. " You seem like a smart girl, I know you already have an idea". It said. Before she could say anything else she heard the others run up to her because they had killed the other two. Janasia pulled back her spear, causing the mimic to fall to the ground and before it could react Hannah swung her sword and cut its head off. " Why the hell does that thing look like you!?" Hannah asked. " The messenger lied to us. Can I talk to you alone when we get back to the house, it's really important." Janasia said with a serious expression.
