Something's not right.

Her father came to pick her up from the Hospital and dropped her off at Clover's house. She had already texted the others to make sure they were all there. A maid greeted her at the door and then she went straight to the slumber room where the girls were already waiting for her." Why does my dad think that we were attacked by a school intruder and what happened after I passed out?" Hannah asked, still confused about last night. "Well first off we didn't kill that thing, after you passed out it kicked me and clover off of it then a new pair of arms grew out from where the old ones used to be and it tried to attack Roxy, but she used her spear and cut it across the face and it ran off. We didn't know if it would come back or not so we barricaded the door with a bunch of desks and chairs the we used the phone to call the police." Janasia told her. " Okay but why did they think it was a school intruder. Couldn't they tell that the teacher was already dead? I know that plenty of teachers and kids seen that things walking around as her" Hannah asked still confused. Clover shoot up " That's the thing, They took her body away and I heard them say that she had been dead but then nothing else came from it. It's like their just gonna pretend it never happened!" She shouted angrily. " I tried looking it up but there was nothing about it on the news or anything. And you would think that the school would be closed after the school was attacked but when I texted some kids at school and they said that the school put out an announcement that the only reason school would be cancelled was for the weather. There literally hasn't been a single cloud in the sky. I bet there just trying to cover it up."

" That's not what's important right now. Aren't you guys at least some what worried about the fact that it knew what school we went to and our class. Not to mention that it was able to act just like our teacher?" Roxanne asked. " When it was first at your house I just assumed that it might be some kind of undiscovered wold animal but if it was able to do all that it must be intelligent. What did you do to piss it off that bad that it hunts you down to your school." Roxanne finished "I already told you that all I did was walk home I didn't say or do anything wrong!" Hannah said trying to defend herself. " Maybe she right. Did you take a different route than usual, Maybe you accidentally strolled through it's home or something?" Janasia asked. " I went the same way I always do! I even if I did piss it off how the hell what even know what my mom looks like!? Instead of blaming each other we should be trying to find out what those things are." Hannah said managing to quite them. Janasia apologized while Roxanne just turned her head, Hannah rolled her eyes. " We have to be careful from now on. That thing could turn into anybody and we wouldn't even know. We also should start switching out where we are, If it could track down our school who knows if it doesn't already know we're here " Hannah decided " We also need to come up with a name for those things. I vote we call them mimics because they mimic people and we'll need a name too, and since were their murders and we silence their mimics we'll need like a murderer badass name, how about... the remote because we press mute on them!." Clover butted in excitedly "First of all the remote is a garbage name. Second of all we aren't murderers we are defending ourselves against monsters that attack us first. You make it sound like we are actively trying to hunt these things." Roxanne said. " Well it's kill or be killed isn't it? If we brought the fight to them we wouldn't have to worry about being caught off guard because we're the ones playing offense, and the remote isn't a bad name it's just not perfect. How about we do something mysterious instead. hmmm how about the silencers, no objections? welp that's that we are now the silencers." Clover stated. " Alright fine we'll be the silencers but we most definitely are not going to go on the hunts for those things because we are at a complete disadvantage. We don't know how many there are, we don't know where they are, we don't even know what they are. Hell for all we know they can shot lasers out of their eyes, we know nothing about. Us going after them would be like a blind deaf person running into traffic. Hopefully they will take the hint after the last one got it's arms cut off and won't mess with us anymore. Besides we have nothing to defend ourselves with if they do decide to show up." Hannah said

The girls stayed in the room for a few more hours and played games on the PS5. "Ugh, I haven't had anything to eat since lunch yesterday. Do you have anything in your kitchen". Hannah said while clenching your stomach. "Why didn't you say anything earlier, I can't have my babies hungry! To the kitchen!" Clover yelled as she busted through the door and marched to the kitchen with the girls following closely behind her. She went to the fridge and pulled out a bunch of ingredients, " How about we make homemade pizzas like we used to when we were younger. It might take our mind off things" Clover suggested. " Yes!! Do you have any mushrooms?" Hannah asked. All the girls started at her. " You still like Mushrooms?" Janasia asked with a disgusted face. " Yes I do and I feel no shame about it. It's like pineapple pizza. You just have to try it". Hannah said proudly. The girls laughed at her and they went about making their pizzas.

"Who are you?" Clover asked. Hannah was just about to put her finished pizza in the oven when clover said this. She looked over at her then turned to see what she was looking at. "That's the maid from earlier" Hannah thought to herself. Clover grabbed a knife but the maid put her hands up in surrender with a smug smile on her face. " Calm yourselves children. I am not here to fight, I am just the messenger. You see, you have angered my people-". The maid said before she was interrupted. " How did we angry them when you guys attacked us first, what do Hannah do for you to attack her!?" Roxanne yelled at her. " The girl did nothing. You see my people must eat and just like how your people hunt animals for food we eat humans. Usually we do not have to hunts ourselves but the provider seems to be getting lazy with our meals. That bastard's been giving us less and less and just expects us to be fine with it. The only reason you were attacked in the first place is because you were alone in the woods, you were just the easiest catch. it would be strange if he didn't attack you." "Okay but that still doesn't explain why you came to our school, how did you even know where we went to school I. the first place?" Janasia asked. "Well it is quite embarrassing to be beaten by a bunch of human children, the hunter that attacked the girl at her home just wanted to prove he was capable, and the provider told us where you where." The maid answered nonchalantly. " But how did you know about my mother?" Hannah asked not being able to keep the question in any longer she had been thinking about it for days. "Listen I'm a messenger not a wikipedia so stop asking me all these questions, but I will answer this last one. Our people are able to turn into and mimic anyone that is deceased, now onto the next segment. You have attacked a member of our society and that is punishable by death. We know that you aren't going to give yourselves up willingly so just know that the battle is only just beginning and you won't be so lucky next time. That's all bye!" the maid turned around and was about to leave when Janasia stopped her. "Hey, we have a message too." She pulled out to dried up arm of the mimic and threw it on the ground in front of the maid. "Tell them that the same will happen to any of your people who are dumb enough to come after us. Tell them that it's best to just leave us alone. None of your people are dead and none of us are dead. This should be the end of it". Janasia said calmly. The maid scowled at the girls before picking up the arm and leaving, making sure to slam the door on the way out. Janasia went to the front door the maid left out of and saw that she went into the forest. She then went back to the kitchen "What are we going to do!?" Janasia shouted. " They're going to kill us!" she shouted. "They aren't going to kill us! I'll make sure of that, besides we just got plenty of information that we can use". Hannah said. " Yeah, we know that they can only mimic the dead and the they have an inside man. If we can find who they are we can make them tell us how to get rid of the mimics". Clover said trying to reassure Janasia "It has to be someone in high power for them to be able to cover up multiple disappearances, but even then, this is a small town, people wouldn't be able to just vanish without anyone noticing." Hannah said out loud to herself. "I can't think on an empty stomach, let's just eat and try to calm down so that we can properly think of a plan". Clover said.
