I AM a bit unmotivated to do my task, but I am not being paid here to slack off and do nothing. The truth is I have a ton of paperwork, and I need to finish them all on my deadline.
I was busy typing on my computer when Angel came back from our boss's office. She looks troubled the way she is looking at me.
"Mace, I am warning you today. Don't ever go inside that office. The devil has risen from his bed of roses," she said being a bit dramatic.
I chuckled. "What the hell?"
"Yeah," she mumbles why nodding. "The hell. Our boss looks very pissed off. I saw the worse out of that guy. He is more tolerable than you imagine, but if he is angry, gosh, New York will be filled with nothing but chaos." That is too much, right?
