Chapter 42: An Explosive Ending
“What’s the best part you’re thinking of?” Cody said.
“The food, of course,” Jace said. “I’m starving.”
After making sure everyone had a drink and seeing people were headed toward the food, Cody and Jace left.
“Good job,” Jacob said to Cody then patted him on the back. “You looked good riding up on horseback, Jace.”
“Thanks,” Jace said. “The champagne set-up was top notch.”

When they got to the saloon, they were shown to one of the tables that was nicely set with plaid tablecloths, floral centerpieces, and utensils.
“Since it’s a homecoming celebration, we’re eating family style,” Elvira said.
