Chapter 29: Bittersweet Goodbye
Burbick POV I am truly grateful for the new friends that I've made. Alicia and Shepherd are amazing and kind people and even though Shepherd and I started on a rocky note, now we are getting along great. I think he started to respect me after I was attacked by the Jawa bird and although that experience was horrible, I survived and gained a friend. Alicia has been wonderful since the start. She actually understands me and I really look forward to our conversations. I've never had anyone in my life that I have been able to connect with and now I have two people. I know they are trying to find a way back to their home planet, which might lead to them leaving me but maybe not.
