Chapter 30: Inner Turmoil
John Adams POV I can't believe Alicia Tate is missing! This really could not have happened at a worse time. We are still at war with the Neba and I fear for her safety, if she is indeed lost and not actually dead. According to both her parents, they strongly feel that she is still alive but lost somewhere in the universe. I normally do not base my research on a feeling but considering they are my closest friends, I agreed to help them. Alicia is soon to be my daughter in law as well so I am hoping if I'm able to locate her, it might even help my relationship with my son. I arrived at my lab early this morning before anyone else came so I could make sure any of my confidential dealings with the Neba were hidden.
